When I signed up through my insurance provider for this gym's membership, I needed to finish the set up in the physical location. The person finalizing my membership explained that it was policy for a card to be on file, but specifically stated it would not be charged a fee and it was for things like drinks or whatever I may need at their gym shop. The first of the month rolls around and I noticed a charge from the gym without explanation, while I am 14 hours away from the gym. I instantly assumed someone used my card for a snack, so I called my bank to report fraud and get a charge back. Thankfully that processed and I quickly canceled my membership through my insurance portal. I have since been receiving multiple notices that I am getting late fees for not paying this mystery monthly charge even though my membership is canceled and was specifically told nothing would charge to my card on file except for anything I purchased from their gym shop. When I called to speak to someone about this, I discovered that the woman who activated my membership also took it upon herself to upgrade my membership after telling me I would not be charged anything because I "already paid." I am very thankful for the gentleman who quickly took care of this mistake for me, told me he would discuss the situation with his manager, and address the employee who decided to put fraudulent charges on my card, but overall this was a wildly disappointing experience. I would not recommend using this location and if you do, be sure to keep an eye on your bank statements.

My trainer missed my class but stuff happens. I would prefer this gym and this location since it's newer but the traffic is bad especially with the construction and the holidays so weekends are only my only option if I want to waist 30+ mins driving there and the same driving back home. But it's the cleanest gym around... probably because they are brand new but let's hope they keep it that way. I love the hydro massage chairs. They are included with membership along with the tanning. This location is open 24 hours! If you live close it's a wnner.

The experience kicked off in the best of ways with a very friendly welcome and tour of the space. I was really impressed by how large their building as in how many rooms and classes they were able to host at the same time. they offer a small shopping area three dressing rooms and several different weights to coordinate with different classes. My particular visit was for the hot stretch class which included intense stretching in a heated room for 30 minutes. It seemed that this was just what my body needed after a few days of spin classes. Note that if you do not have a mat, you can rent theirs for two dollars as well as towels and water bottles. I also appreciated that their first sample class was only eight dollars for new customers. Often times the $20 for a first class at other studios makes it a bit too much when you don't know what you're getting into.

The nets in the pitching areas can be opened up to make a larger room for sprints, fielding practice, etc. They offer a wide variety of training and conditioning classes, we have not availed ourselves of any of these but typically training is from former collegiate, semi pro or pro players. Many different travel teams practice here and I have seen HSE and Fishers players around a lot. Parking sucks as it is right next to an Enterprise rental. You may have to find a business (or the street) to park.

If you are looking for a place to come practice sports or workout, FSA is a great spot. The employees are very kind and supportive. Wether you are working out with Michelle Lafluer or taking lessons with any of the amazing instructors, FSA is a fantastic place to go. The inside of the building is quite large. There are 4 hitting cages, 1 long pitching cage, and a large turf field, and a big workout area. If you are a parent looking to watch your child take on any activity FSA has to offer, FSA also has an upstairs lounge area with multiple chairs, a couch, and a TV. On multiple accounts I have had great, learning lessons with one of the owners Ed Woolwine . Also, my brothers have had good experiences with another instructor, Danny Collier. You may think that FSA just isn't the place for you, however, I can assure you that wether you are working out, hitting, pitching, fielding, etc. it will be an amazing experience. Fishers sports academy provides a supportive learning environment, so if you are looking for a sports training facility, FSA is the place to go. -OM
