What a Gem to deal with over the phone . Her business skills and concern that we were covered are top notch . She suggested that at our earliest convenience I stop in to go over our present policy (bundled) to see if anything has changed . I arrived there today (Monday) and was greeted by Lissette and she has a tremendous caring attitude towards policy holders . She had taken the liberty to review my present policys and made several suggestions on how to better insure our cars and protection . She took her time to show and explain how by changing a few items and adding an additional umbrella policy we were able to save a few hundred dollars yearly . Needless to say her sound advice made sense to me and we made the changes . Teri , I can not thank you enough for all you have done for Vanessa and I over the years and bringing Lissette into you staff of excellent agents . We look forward to many more years with you and your staff . I highly recommend the Morris Plains State Farm Office for all your insurance needs . Kenny

I also got rid of 2 unnecessary policies that they had for my personal property and my business. I was audited 13 times in 1 year by these guys which was an absolute nightmare. After I challenged them and won on more than 1 occasion I never got an apology, just sent to re audit and cause me more paperwork every year. I had a friend in this group that I thought was taking care of me so I was afraid it would be worse if I left. I was very wrong. I have been gone a year now so I waited to write this since last year. My new agency has cut my insurance by 60% and all deductibles are in half like I said. Same insurance company and policies, yet half the cost. Also now I get answers instantly not in two weeks. I have been in business since 1997 and my family business since 1988 I can say this is the worst business I have dealt with including car sales !

We use NJM for our Home insurance policy and my wife uses NJM for her Auto insurance. Last…read moremonth(12/22/18), I purchased a car and took this opportunity to switch my Car insurance from AAA to NJM Auto Insurance so that all of our Home and Auto insurance are under NJM. We were informed that our insurance would be $920 for my wife's car(2014 subaru crosstrek) and $1120(2019 Subaru Outback Limited), our car salesman talked to NJM the day we bought my car to insure that they know all of the safety features of the car. Today 1/2/19, I went to check our Policy online to setup the payments since we received an NJM packet last week that only contained my wife's insurance policy at her old rate before I was added. So I called NJM to verify the amount of our policy and the representative I spoke to mentioned that it changed from $920/1120 to $992/1173. He said that the previous rep should not have confirmed the previous values since there was a 4% rate increase for the new year. He then put me on hold to research if there are any other factors that raised our rate. After about 5 minutes, he reiterated the 4% increase and brought up my no point violation from March 2016. If I knew they would do this I would have stuck with my previous insurance for my car.

One star is too generous! They deserve zero!…read more What an absolute headache to work with resolving an uninsured motorist claim!!!!! Communication with their adjusters is HORRIFIC! They will claim they never got your emails--LIKE THEIR PROPERTY DAMAGE ADJUSTER LAWRENCE SMITH CLAIMS HE NEVER RECEIVED, DESPITE THE EMAILS BEING IN MY SENT BOX AND MY LAWYER RECEIVED THEM WHEN I BCC'D THEM!!! Then their bodily injury adjuster lied to my lawyer and said they were working on my claim last week just to say yesterday they never spoke to my lawyer! They low ball you on your total vehicle loss claim and offer a joke of a settlement and change the dates of your rental car reservation without even telling you!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! Their adjusters are incompetent! I plan on sharing my nightmare experience on EVERY platform and I will upload proof of their nonsense as well. You're better off just taking them to court and reporting them to your local government for not following the laws of uninsured motorists claims. That's exactly what me and my lawyer are in talks of doing. The headache of trying to work them isn't worth it!
