Grateful to have found this shop after breaking down off the freeway. They were able to get us in…read moreand my husband's car fixed right away. Everyone there was really professional and personable. Extra shout out to Bob & Gary. After having such a great experience I'll be coming here for my smog, oil changes and all car related things!

This place preys on women and almost anybody that's gullible with a wallet…read more I brought my car here several months ago for an oil change and they told me I needed a new plug gasket for my engine-- to the tune of $900. So what did I do? I paid it and had it done (as a responsible car-owner). My fiance came in for an oil change-- and you'd never guess-- HIS car also needed a new plug gasket for $900. He declined. Neither of these experiences were enough for me to post this review-- but last week the AC went out in my car. I found a reliable auto company to give me an estimate to repair. Turns out I needed a new compressor-- the other company's estimate was $1499. I brought my car here for the second opinion. I called before coming and they told me they would give me an estimate free of charge-- mind you it also says on the front door they offer free AC Inspections and free estimates. They raised my car and spent about 10-15 minutes checking it out and then dropped the hammer. The compressor was shot (same diagnosis as the 1st company) which was what I was expecting. The cost to repair?? $4200!! I told them that was way too much and they explained this was the OEM price and they needed to use OEM to give the best repair. When they saw me ready to walk, they offered the repair with non OEM parts and that would be $2000. Still being 25% more than the other quote I opted to not have the service done there. They worked up my paper estimate and told me my balance was $89.99. Like wtf? I told them I was told the diagnostic would be free-- and it's literally advertised on their front door as free. Needless to say, they waived the fee, and I had my compressor completed by the other guys for $1499. Lesson learned.

Hi Kevin, I wasn't…read morelooking for anything from my comment. I am not certain you really read it because there was no insult to you or your company. I did not state that you agreed to do any service. Just that a reply was insinuated. No attention needed and I definitely would not have expected this. Never disrespected you all. Although, I see my comment was definitely taken out of context. I even mentioned that I standby that you all do "excellent" work. I have to remember that we live in a society of likes and stars, that matter, more than being real/ authentic and right to opinion. It's also a climate of unhinged and easily offended people. SO PLEASE I don't want any issues. My bad. Let me not poke the bear here. 5 stars all yours. You are right and you win & you take care now. No other reply needed. Again my bad. And I am glad you edited your original response to my comment, had me a bit concerned. (My Original Comment) Previously, I had great dealings with this company (as stated in my older reviews). However, recently I reached out about service and aside from one reply stating I would be contacted once he was back in town, I could not receive further response to schedule for a repair. Now, that I recall this happened in the past too but I was given a different reason. I see from recent reviews they're still working with others. It's odd because each past repair went well and always had a good rapport and ended on only a positive note. I only asked for an explanation of why they would not reply but again to no response. I still stand by their excellent work and great customer service in the past though.

Instead of checking the connectors first, they jumped straight into a calibration. After a long wait they said they couldn't finish because something else was wrong under the seat and wanted another $188 just to take the seat out and diagnose. I took the van back, found a second plug that wasn't fully connected, plugged it in, and the airbag light went off. No calibration needed. While they were hooked up they started a calibration they didn't finish, which turned on the VSC and TRAC lights that were not on when I arrived. I called to have those cleared since they created them. The owner interrupted me, yelled, put his hands in my face, and told me not to come back after it was fixed. Either they missed a simple unplugged connector or they were trying to sell a $188 diagnosis for a plug. Terrible communication and worse attitude. I fixed the original problem myself in minutes after they spent hours and still wanted more money.
