Instead of just scheduling me an appointment and moving on, the manager - Chris - went the extra step of trying to figure out if there was a glitch in the system in order to get it repaired. Everyone was super professional and extremely helpful. The problem was addressed and resolved within 15 minutes. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough

I love my Lexus but service at this location is horrible. Went in to get a basic oil change…read more When I arrived there was only 1 car checking in besides me. Probably 6-8 service directors all in their offices and I waited 10 minutes to get any help. Then I was told it would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours for the oil change. I left. While I love Lexus this will be my last one unless I move and change dealers.

I've been a longtime Toyota owner and consider myself reasonably handy with car maintenance. I have…read morea 2011 FJ Cruiser and a 2015 Tundra. While my Tundra had a prepaid service plan, I occasionally brought the FJ in, too, mostly out of convenience. For a while, it worked out. But once I started doing my own service again, I started noticing things that left me frustrated and concerned. First, on the Tundra: When I went to do my own oil change after the service plan expired, I found that several bolts securing the oil filter access shield were missing. These aren't obscure or hard to reach bolts. They were clearly left out. It looked like someone intentionally skipped reinstalling them to make future removal easier, which might sound helpful unless you're the owner who expects your vehicle to be put back together properly. Then came the FJ Cruiser. I've had the cabin air filter replaced at Red McCombs several times. Anyone who's done it knows there's a small shock dampener behind the glove box that needs to be removed to get to it. When I went to replace it myself recently, the dampener was completely missing. No one ever told me. Did they forget to reinstall it? Or just not care? Fast forward to about six months ago. The Tundra was at Red McCombs briefly for an insurance-related repair, and I figured I would pay for an oil change while it was there. Seemed simple enough. When I went to change the oil recently, I found that every single screw clip that secures the front bumper trim to the skid shield was gone. These clips are easy to remove and replace. No excuse for leaving them out. Yet again, it was sloppy and lazy work. None of this was catastrophic, but that's not the point. Every nut and bolt on that vehicle belongs to me. If you're removing them, you should be putting them back. I'm left asking myself: What else didn't they do? Did they fully drain the oil? Did they even install the new filter I paid for? What other shortcuts were taken that I cannot see? It's clear to me now that Red McCombs Toyota Service repeatedly cut corners. Whether it's due to laziness, lack of training, or trying to get jobs done faster, I don't know. What I do know is I shouldn't have to spend my own time crawling under my vehicle to reinstall bolts and replace missing hardware because someone didn't do their job. I'm done with Red McCombs Toyota Service. If you care about your vehicle, check their work. Because, based on my experience, they might not.

Brandon knew what he was talking about, gave accurate estimates for cost and time and ensured to deliver more than what was committed. I saw no occasion where anyone there lied to me about anything which alone puts them 10 times ahead of the Toyota dealership in Boerne. It was actually a pleasure doing business with them. I'd go back.

I recently bought my very first Lexus and I am new to San Antonio. I'm not usually a dealership…read moregirlie. I would typically find a local trustworthy mechanic. But, my Lexus didn't start the other day and I found out that my battery was under (prorated) warranty. I popped into North Park Lexus and they took great care of me. Let me tell you - NOW I know why people go to the dealership! They have a coffee bar with a barista and some snacks like popcorn and cookies. My iced latte was delicious!! I'm not sure what the hours are, but they also have a show shine chair and a chair massage! And, it's all complimentary! Raul was my service advisor and he was fantastic! He doesn't mess around! Someone brought my car around, before he made sure all was good and he made them take it back to make sure everything was completed to his satisfaction. Maybe I AM a dealership girlie.....?

Been coming here for years for vehicle service and complimentary car wash since I purchased my…read moreLexus. I've never had an issue, but today I was disappointed because my car came out of the wash still dirty and there were streak marks all over the windows, front and back windshields, making it difficult to see while driving fortunately, I pulled over in the lot across the street for further inspection and then came right back to the let them know about the issue. They did not even apologize and just asked if I wanted them to run it through the car wash again. I'm waiting to see if there is any improvement, but not happy about the incident. Update, when they brought my vehicle back from the wash, I got into my car and then noticed my key was not on the console where I left it when I returned for the 2nd car wash. They said that their policy was not to take the key from the vehicle and made it seem like I lost the key. They also said they were going to check the video footage to see if the keys were there when I left it the 2nd time. The dashboard stated 'no key detected' so I knew I didn't have it. Spent time looking in the vehicle and emptied my purse although I knew I didn't have it. They radioed Paco and he had the key in his pocket. They gave me my key back, but I spent almost an hour and a half here just to get my car washed when it wasn't even busy. I also didn't appreciate that they seemed to blame me for the missing key. They also didn't vacuum the car like they said they would. Anyhow, I will think twice before returning to this location due to my experience today.
