I booked a Patriotic Themed Mini Session for my baby girl's first professional portraits and I am in love with how her photos turned out! Michael and Marni are such a lovely and professional couple who work in tandem to produce high quality and beautiful portraits. My baby girl wasn't able to sit on her own yet at the time of her shoot so Marni was kind enough to hold my baby up from behind the backdrop while Michael shot her photos. It is little details like this that convey the amount of care and attention that they put into their work. Michael has a quick turnaround time with his editing work and I was so pleased to receive my photos sooner than I had initially anticipated. I shared the gallery with my family and friends who all adored the photos and commented on the quality of the portraits, from the set design to the editing. I am so happy that I have found a local family owned business that I can support. I will be returning again in the near future to get more professional shots done of my baby. We typically get Santa photos at South Coast Plaza, but obviously we had to make alternate plans this year. Of course, it was pricier, but the entire experience was lovely. The staff made us super comfortable by explaining all their safety and cleaning precautions before we entered and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating of my 4 year old, who can be shy and was nervous to meet Santa. They allowed the kids to get comfortable in the space and gave plenty of warning before Santa walked in... much less intimidating than the mall. The best part was we were emailed a link to almost 30 beautiful photos within hours! The photos are taken with multiple backdrops/props and we were able to have some with each girl individually as well as family photos on top of the Santa photo we came for. I would highly recommend F/8 studios for Santa photos, especially for smaller kids that have sensory overload at the mall. read more

Hard to believe I met Michael almost 10 years ago when he photographed me for my high school senior year portraits and graduation party photos! Wow! This studio is amazing. I was looking for a place to take pictures with a Black Santa and I stumbled upon this studio and am so glad I did. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. First, it feels like it is a very personalized experience and interaction with their clientele. I have been in touch with them off and on for a few years and, knowing I was interested in Santa pics, they emailed me to let me know that the dates were up and whenever additional dates came up. Secondly, when we arrived, the team was so nice and wonderful with my two kiddos who were over the moon to find out Santa was coming from behind the curtain. Santa was fantastic and made my kids feel very comfortable. And then the pictures came back very quickly and are beautiful! We went to the studio for the first time for Easter photos with my two year old. The setup was perfect and so fun. The colors were vibrant and it shows through the camera. The staff is absolutely amazing and keep the place safe. You honesty feel excited to be surrounded in a great space for family photos. We are looking forward to our next sessions. I am not sure how I came across f/8 studios... maybe fate but I am so happy I did. We have done a couple mini sessions and have been completely blown away every time. The first was a Mother's Day shoot and although it was a quick shoot they made us feel like family. My son, 7 at the time was asking all sorts of questions and Michael was so welcoming & warm assuring me, he too had a child at home the same age and acted the same. The second, just this week we did the Santa Experience and again was blown away. I knew what to expect from the Instagram stories and videos but it was so much more than my expectations. I just wanted to share how absolutely wonderful our expierence was here! I had a session done with my two kids and it was wonderful and it really was Magical!
