We reached out to Moonheart Studios to do our annual family photos. Prior, we had gone to a mall and in my opinion the photographers there don't have a passion for photography and you can tell by the service and photos. Moonheart Studios was very responsive as soon as we reached out and was very reasonably priced! They met us at a place we had in mind and helped us with poses and different background ideas. I booked Moonheart studio for our intimate civil ceremony at the court house, we decided last minute to have a photographer there because it was not going to a be a big celebration but I thought I might regret not having some professional photos of our special day. Moonheart responded to my message on yelp and everything seemed to line up and I booked them the night before our elopement. Jason was spectacular. We hired Moonheart for my son's first birthday party in an outdoor park. We had to cancel the event and move the date initially and Jason and his team were very flexible with the date change. During the day of the event, he arrived on time, was masked up the entire time and took beautiful pictures and video. He even added drone shots in the video to make it even better. Jason and April are fantastic. Moonheart Studios recently did some family photos for me. Leading up to the set date, they were very responsive to my many questions, which I truly appreciated. On the day of the photos, Jason and April were very friendly and patient (we had a toddler and an infant in the group). Even though Jason had never done a shoot at the park I selected, he was very good at finding the good places, angles, lighting, etc. We happened to do our photos a few days before Mother's Day. Jason and April rushed to get a few early edited photos to us before Mother's Day even though we didn't ask or expect them to. It was quite thoughtful! The photos came out beautifully, too! This is a tough review to write, but a notable one. My family and I were in a time crunch to have a funeral service be covered with photography and videography. I know I know, who wants to cover such a thing. My search was proving to be difficult because just as I said, who wants to actually take a job like that. Jason and April stepped up, and I'm so very glad they did. They allowed my mom who is grieving the loss of her mother (my gram) to actually sit and attend the service without having to worry about pictures. Pictures at such services have always been taken by my family, but this one was a little too delicate and required someone else to fill in those shoes. My mom was happy with how they were "there without really being there" and allowed people to just continue the process of grieving without worrying about someone snapping pictures. Jason and April from Moonheart Studios were extremely profesional and easy to work with from the moment we contacted them. My fiancé (now husband) and I had our wedding scheduled, and all components planned: venue, church ceremony, reception, etc. During our planning phase, we contacted several other photographers, and their packages ultimately did not match Moonheart's flexibility, willingness to please us and to help be there for us. We picked Moonheart and boy are we happy we did. Little did we know COVID would change all our wedding plans. But, as we communicated changes (out of our control) to Moonheart, they adapted, stuck by us and came through. They did a photo session during our small wedding ceremony plus taped the wedding. They were there early to set up. They gave us preliminary photos right away and delivered on time our photo and video packages. They worked on our photos and videos as if they were theirs, and their work was impeccable. My favorite was the wedding highlight video which was 4 minutes and included drone imagery of our wedding. But they also did a 1-minute trailer video, and 48 minute video. They also gave us access to all our photos. I highly recommend them. read more
