I shop here for many reasons. They have a great selection and cheap prices compared to local convenience stores.

It really is a one stop shop. It's like your regular corner shop where you can get some groceries or hot food take away, rent movies plus being an internet cafe. The aisles are way less intimidating than your Woolworths or Coles and have more of a homey feel. They even sell home made paper animal shaped sculptures. That's pretty neat in my eyes.

It's the kind of place that always has killer pythons and hand mixed bags of lollies at the counter. You know the ones... with milk bottles, spear mints, raspberries and cream, teeth, jelly beans and rasberries. All the very best lollies crammed into one little sweet bag of childish fun. The real signs of a true blue fair dinkum Aussie corner shop. The sweet Oriental lady behind the counter is so friendly, my girlfriend and I comment on it after we exit. She's very happy for us to be heading to the beach on such and beautiful day. Clearly her manner has an impact, because we find ourselves in there for ages gradually accruing all manner of junk/ drinks/ trashy reading material.... all the crucial ingredients required for an afternoon of sunbaking at Clovelly beach... including obligatory mixed lollies, of course. All the bare essentials you'd expect in a corner shop, and a refreshing change from the supermarket. No crowds here. Just one man patiently waiting for us to finalise our mounting pile of goodies. Sorry mate!

Very Disenchanted…read more I went in to print two pages. Each page is 20c, except pictures, which are 50c. My 2 pages had a picture in the top right hand corner, so I had to pay 50c a page. Not only that; to use a computer to print your documents costs $1, assuming you do it in under 10 minutes. They charge you for the computer and internet usage as well as the printing costs, rather than for simply the printing costs. That's cheap. Is that normal prices. When I read the prices, I left the store, but found out that it's the only printing facility nearby. So I conceded the money was worth not having to walk to the next suburb or catch us bus. It wasn't. I printed the documents only to see that they were not in colour; I can't use them anyway. I paid my $2 and left the store, caught a bus, and began the search for a new printing place. I sincerely regret simply not refusing the product at the counter, however, I didn't ask about colour printing; I simply assumed by the 50c a page rate that they'd indulge me. I figured it was best to take the passive approach. It wasn't even a good print job - the one picture in the top right-hand corner was striped and blurry. As an internet café, they charge $1 for ten minutes, and $2 for half an hour. Note also, they are not a café; they don't serve hot food, they are a convenience store with preserved foods. And even as a convenience store, its not very successful. They don't have a lot to sell. Avoid at all costs. Especially if you need something printed.
