This is my favorite pawn shop in San Antonio. They don't have the biggest gun selection, but they…read morecarry a lot of fantastic guns at really good prices. They have a lot of firearm stuff for how small their gun section is. Most importantly, they do NOT price gouge and only raise prices based on industry/inflation levels. They have the best layaway policy I've ever seen at any pawn shop. It's allowed me to buy guns I likely wouldn't have been able to buy at other, larger stores. I've sold a few guns to the shop too. They always quote better prices than than other pawn shops or gun stores. The employees there are also great. They are very personable and made me feel like a regular after going only a few times when I first moved to SA years ago. That actually made me become a regular. Awesome little shop. Always the first place I stop at when I want to buy a gun.

I've always liked Bills and at first, upon falling under Cash America, I was livid at being quoted…read morejust $10 for a nearly brand new pair of pro audio Yamaha headphones because "that's what their average sales prices have been for headphones in recent weeks" despite these likely being much higher quality than their skull candy, and average consumer level beats and jbl headphones. So I was heated and went elsewhere but eventually started doing business again with Bills out of convenience initially, and now, I prefer them to any others, including those I had ranked higher for a good period of time. Jonathan has always been a people friendly, stand up, respectful and respectable professional that quite frankly, if he left, Bill's Pawn would lose nearly all of its interpersonal charm, personality and feels-like-family appeal. He makes every visit and every encounter feel as though you received a personal invitation to purchase, pawn, sell, or simply browse. Long story short, there are some bright competent employees at Bills, a few who may come across as less than motivated or thrilled to assist, but all in all, from what I've observed & experienced, Jonathan keeps Bills solid and I believe he is most likely the lead factor in shaping Bills Pawn, as it stands today, into my most preferred pawn shop in San Antonio. Hats off to all the hard working staff who smile, welcome customers with enthusiasm and intrigue and for the less enthusiastic year round grinches, study the engagements that often begin and end with pleasant enthusiastic exchanges like family reunions. Appreciate all yall do!!! Bills Pawn rocks!!!
