They have the best customer service. I am so grateful my husband picked my engagement ring from here. I loved that he got to pick the band and the and the diamond. Syd taught him all about the clarity and color of the stone. We ended up getting Verragio bands with a matching design. My husband got me another ring for my something blue on our wedding day. Yaniv the general manager is amazing, we had a little issue with a bracelet and he fixed it without any hassle. They are always so friendly when we walk in and they remember us. I love that they don't charge extra for engravings, cleanings, or servicing. I highly recommend this store! read more

wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. I knew exactly what I wanted for my engagement ring long before I even met my now fiancé. BIG shoutout to Sid for making my dream ring a reality! A couple of months ago we met Sid and he talked to us about all things diamonds. I even got to hand pick (with expert guidance) the center stone for my future ring. I tried on a lot of different rings while at the store, but I already had my mind set on what I wanted - a design quite different from anything already available. I had no idea Diamonds Direct could do completely custom rings and I am SO HAPPY I got my engagement ring through them! I've only been engaged for a few days now but I get countless compliments on my ring every day! read more

My husband got my engagement ring here and since then I've always stopped by to get my ring polished (it's free!). They are super fast and friendly. I was approached by Rick this most recent time and he's been by far the best! He wasn't pushy about trying to sell me anything when I asked to polish my ring, and he even offered me a drink (wine, soda, water) which no one has ever done! They have a wide and beautiful jewelry collection. The next time my husband asks what I want, I know which store I'll be taking him to...haha! read more

Sorry ladies! But this is guy is officially off the market. Just put the down payment on an engagement ring for my future fiance. Oh and did I mention it's custom made for my sweet Colombian vixen. That's right, you didn't misread it, CUSTOM. Diamonds Direct hookin your boy up with a custom diamond ring at a really affordable cost. Phat W. You can't beat that. Now let's get to the nitty gritty. When you order a custom engagement ring like your boy just did, you want to make sure every little detail is right. That's where Diamonds Direct comes in clutch. They walked me through every step of the way so that the ring will be perfect for my South American smoke-show, oh and did I mention she's a lawyer too. Yup, I'm a lucky one but TRUST me, so is she. Honestly there were actually so many options and I had no idea what she actually wanted so I just let her pick everything. But your boy still paid for it yeet. Everyone was so helpful and really took away the stress of the process. Who we kidding, your boy don't get stressed, but they still made it as easy as possible and an overall joyful experience. Next up, popping the big question! I mean she already knows it's coming but I still gotta ask. Maybe I'll just ask her how she wants me to propose. Regardless this guy is gonna make her the luckiest lady in all of north, kinda west San Antonio! Highly recommend Diamonds Direct, and if you pop in, tell em Lara sent you. read more

I lost my center Diamond to my wedding ring and was totally devastated. After searching sources for months , I selected Diamonds Direct in San Antonio,Texas. I met Allison Ramos upon entering the store and we began the diamond selection process. Right away,Allison was extremely knowledgeable about diamonds, dedicated, focused and very patient--it really impressed me. I explained my criteria for the replacement and she understood exactly what I wanted. In one of our earlier conversations, she promised that she would find a diamond that I would absolutely love and she was right! The last diamond she showed me ( she had several others just in case) was stunningly beautiful and within my budget. When I saw it -- I cried and she cried too. Allison delivered on her promise And she is honest, trustworthy and committed to customer service. If I could give Allison, the management team and Diamonds Direct 10 stars -- I would--because they would definitely deserve it. I highly recommend Allison Ramos and Diamonds Direct in San Antonio,Texas for all your jewelry needs!! read more

We recently got engaged at the end of February! It was such a surprise! Sadly, the ring didn't fit well and overall, was just too large/heavy for my small finger (I wear a size 4). It was very emotional for me to not be able to wear the beautiful ring that my fiancé proposed with! We decided to go to Diamonds Direct just to browse and see what might be a better fit for my hand. I was hesitant to go in because I expected it to have a Car Salesman feel. Our sales Rep was Dominica Herrera and she was wonderful! She really listened to me. She looked at my ring and my hand and then showed me things that were a much better fit. The funny thing was that everything that I thought I liked online, I didn't like in person or on me. She heard my concerns, our price range and showed me so many options. She helped me narrow it down and then of course, when I found THE ONE, I instantly knew it! When it was time to pick the diamond, she was also still very mindful of my wants and our price range. She never tried to upsell me, pressure me or sell me something that wouldn't flatter my hand. Because of the size, my ring had to be a special order, she still did all that she could to RUSH the order. I walked out of there on cloud9! My ring came in 2.5 weeks, as opposed to the usual 4-6 weeks and I couldn't be happier. It's beautiful and fits perfectly!! The service level is beyond expectation! I can't stress that enough! Dominica will be our diamond and jewelry expert forever now. She is classy, professional, friendly and most of all, NOT a salesperson. Thank you Diamonds Direct. Your level of service is exceptional! read more

How many times have heard someone say I have a diamond guy? How many times have heard someone say chains rip you off? I spent 4 active months looking for a ring for my fiancé. To define active let's say 4-5 hours a week. Things I looked at include: Online: Blue Nile, James Allen, etc Local: Mom and pop jewelers in SA Wholesaler: Costco Out of state: New Hampshire has no state tax (FYI) Referral: Guy in Miami who would not meet face-to-face...lol When Diamonds Direct says they will offer you the best price, they will. Every time I walked through the front door I was greeted professionally, I was not sold to...I was rather consulted on what my fiancé wanted. The experience top to bottom was one of the best retail experiences I have ever had. Diamonds direct has a saying that as a customer you become part of their family. This isn't lip service, the top notch GM Almog and Consultent Art were both incredible!!! To be honest my fiancé and I went to dinner with them the other night. This is the type of relationship you build here, one that's not "one and done" but lasts! I am not sitting here telling you not to do research...in fact I implore you to do research, I fully suggest you become as involved and knowledgeable as possible about the diamond buying process. An engagement ring is arguably the most important purchase you will ever make, don't ever blindly walk into a store and make a purchase!!! That being said I challenge you to find a better full package then is offered here. I looked, I tried, hell I didn't want to like this place!!!! You can't argue with success, what diamonds direct provides is not just a product, but a service and both of them are unmatched. Thank you Art! Thank you Almog! You have a customer for life. read more

What a wonderful place! I could gaze at all their jewelry for hours. I mean who wouldn't want to fawn over diamonds all day?! At Diamonds Direct you will receive excellent customer service from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. What I loved the most about their customer service is that I was treated the same as everyone else. Due to my age other jewelers have either strayed away from assisting me or have treated me poorly. The employee who assisted me was named DD. She promptly greeted me & offered me something to drink. After she so kindly brought me a mimosa she proceeded to bring out a pamphlet to explain cut, clarity, etc etc in respect to diamonds. DD took her time to thoroughly explain every detail about a diamond. She then walked me through the designers & which one would fit my budget. Not once did she ever put the pressure on me to buy something immediately, but rather helped guide me through their enormous selection of diamonds. It was such a great experience. I can't wait to go back & look at more of their inventory. I highly recommend coming & checking out Diamonds Direct! read more

The best place in the town for shopping jewelry. Their general manager Mr. Azulay is the best! Two years ago My wife and I ordered her engagement ring and wedding band from this store as well as my own wedding band. On that time we did a comprehensive research on multiple places in the town comparing their quality of work and prices, and Diamonds Direct was the sole winner ever. The qualities of rings and the stone are astonishing. I would say the best quality of this store is their customer service. I have never seen any jewelry store with this level of quality in customer service and caring about their customer needs. They are brilliant! This year for our second anniversary, I planned to buy a second wedding band for my wife as a surprise to make her set more brilliant, and when we went to the store, out of our luck, the general manager - Mr. Azulay - helped us, and that was the best experience I've ever had for shopping at jewelry stores. After receiving the second wedding band, I asked Mr. Azulay to see whether we can solder the wedding bands together as a guard, and surprisingly this store did it with the best quality for us. I could not even imagine how this store cares about their customers, and I was shocked. This store and their general manager Mr. Azulay are all awesome. I even shared my next plan with him about upgrading the store on my wife's engagement ring, and he showed us exactly which steps it would be. Not only they helped us get the second wedding band and solder them together, but also they polished my own wedding band and resized it. Even they helped us for resizing a bracelet for my wife which was not purchased from their store. I can't wait for the next time we go there and shop from their store. I wish I could give them 10 stars. read more

Great service and amazing experience. Just a an fyi they are closed on SUNDAYS. Don't make the drive. Google Maps a lie.

I checked out all the diamond stores in San Antonio, and Diamonds Direct is definitely the best. What sets it apart is: A) Best Selection - While other stores may have more rings, Diamonds Direct has a much wider variety of differing ring styles. What I mean by that is a lot of diamond stores have a lot of the same looking rings. At Diamonds Direct, the variety is so big, you are guaranteed to find a style that suits you or your loved one. B) Best Quality at the Best Price - The title of this bullet point speaks for itself. For an excellent cut, colorless, almost flawless diamond, I thought there was no way I could afford the ring that caught my eye. I was blown away when I was told the price. Let's just say I would've paid a lot more somewhere else. C) Best Staff - I can't explain how great the staff is at Diamonds Direct. The people here are so friendly, you immediately feel welcomed. As soon as you step through the door, you are greeted and asked if you could be helped. Even on busy days! Lastly, I have to shoutout to ART DRAB. If you decide to check out the store, ask for Art. Art is my guy, and I'm so grateful to have met him. He's very knowledgeable and super genuine. There wasn't one moment where I felt pressured or taken advantage of. He was even still very helpful after the purchase and gave me great ideas for my proposal and is giving my fiancé and I ideas for our wedding. We now consider Art a family friend! It was an incredible experience to be able to make a big purchase with confidence at a diamond store. Thanks Art and Diamonds Direct! read more

Sometimes 5 star reviews make me leary, like can this place really be that good?!? But oh am I so happy we chose to visit Diamonds Direct first! Elliott and I made the trip over to Diamonds Direct a couple of weeks ago to look at rings. Both of us were novices when it came to diamonds, other than what we gathered from our google searches. We had no clue what to expect. However, from the moment we entered through the two sets of doors at their location at La Cantera, we knew we were in good hands. Thankfully, we were set up with Art Drab. He helped make the process as fun and comfortable. He took us around the entire display taking his time to answer our questions and ask a list of his own. Truly, I had no idea what the heck I wanted, but after an hour of working with him, Elliott and I found our perfect ring! From the start he was aware of our budget, and helped us get the most bang for our buck. And he wasn't done there. He gave us a good lesson on all the ins and outs of picking the diamond. I was such a newb that I didn't think about having to pick a diamond. I just thought it was what fit the setting. Boy was I wrong. Again, more time was spent looking at diamonds. Elliott and Art ended up going to the computer and punching in some parameters to find the perfect one. Turns out that particular diamond was in Jacksonville, FL. This was on a Thursday evening. So Friday morning they put in the order and had the diamond delivered to SA Saturday morning. Diamonds Direct had us come back out on Saturday so we could look at the diamond and sign off on it. Once we did that, they placed an order for the ring. I don't think we ever imagined it being such a fun and memorable experience. With the help of Art, we went with a Sylvie Collection ring. I adore it so much. Only draw back was that I had to wait a couple of weeks for the ring to be made. But it was all worth it when I got my hands on it! Now I can't wait to see what it looks like with the band we also got from them. To summarize, I couldn't recommend Diamonds Direct and especially Art Drab more. I'll forever remember this whole experience. read more

I highly doubt me and my husband will be returning to this place and here's why. We came in on a Saturday and found something decent to pair with my engagement ring. They advised it would be 5 weeks to come in which is fine. We ended up changing our minds and going a different route with another place. My husband then made his way to the store to cancel the order the next business day. Speaking to the store manager is what really turned our whole outlook on this store. After being mocked after explaining our experience and judged for appearance was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. No one should EVER be criticized like that. So just because my husband wasn't in a suit he was belittled. I was extremely satisfied that we took our business elsewhere at this point. This lady owes my husband a huge apology but I'm sure we will never get that. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because Art Drab made my experience fantastic here! My fiancé and I previously went shopping for wedding bands in Austin. Since I didn't find what I was looking for in my budget, I decided to stop in Diamonds Direct while in San Antonio for work. I went in to browse, not feeling optimistic I would find anything. I couldn't have been more wrong! Upon meeting Art, I immediately felt better. He genuinely cared that I find my dream wedding band in my budget. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, and he pulled out a band right away-- THE EXACT RING I WANTED. And under budget! I was totally not expecting to find my ring in the middle of my lunch hour! Even though Art could have made the sale right there, he took the extra time to show me a few other bands, just so I was *sure* this was my ring. I appreciated his patience/advice as I compared almost identical bands for another 20 minutes. Once I knew it was the right ring, he walked me through the ordering + pickup process and answered any questions I had. He asked me about my wedding and fiancé, and was very engaged in our conversation. He took what could have been a fast, easy sale and instead made it an EXPERIENCE! I can't recommend this place enough! Go to Diamonds Direct and see Art--you will not be disappointed. read more

My fiancé ordered my engagement ring from here, the ring is beautiful but working with the salespeople and staff is absolutely unhelpful and unpleasant to work with. My ring got damaged and I was very upset about it. After they finally got back to us after about 2 days they had us ship the ring back and after that updates were few and far between. We had to constantly initiate contact to get any answers. When the ring was finally finished, after a month-- they were set to ship it out and forgot to do so. So I had to continue waiting. Yes the deals are good, yes they will get you a ring but forget if you have to get any service done. read more

I was delighted with the level of service I got from Sid Suresh at Diamonds Direct. There was an immediate feeling of trust from the initial contact. Being a novice when it comes to diamonds, I wasn't sure what to expect. Upon entering, it was a very busy Saturday. It took awhile for one of the workers to get with us. After waiting, we were given an explanation of the specificities of a diamond- color, cut, clarity, etc. We were also shown various types of engagement rings to see what I preferred. My ring size was also measured. We were able to look under a microscope at multiple diamonds ranging in size and price to compare and contrast. The worker was able to answer all of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable in diamonds. My now fiancé purchased my engagement ring here, and it is exactly what I wanted. They are able to customize the entire ring- band, setting, diamond, size, etc. In addition, I am able to take it for cleaning as many times per year as I want! Yippee! read more

I've bought my fiancé's engagement ring here and it was a good experience. For that reason we went back and took advantage of their 20% off promotion. That promotion sale was a pleasant experience. We ordered wedding bands for each of us and I ordered a 8mm band for myself. I wanted to be sure I got the 8mm band and so I verified with our seller that the 8mm band was ordered by email the next day. When we received the rings, it was nice because it was earlier than estimated. However, the band I got was actually 6mm. We didn't catch the mistake until I measured the band width with a caliper. The 6mm was nice looking but we paid for the 8mm. The only reason I caught the mistake was because it looked too small to my naked eye and I confirmed it with a caliper. So had I not caught it and addressed it with them, I would of lost out on the price difference between the 6mm and 8mm band, which based on the estimated MSRP would of been about $350. Im not sure who was responsible for the mixup but my advice to future customers is double check your orders and confirm you are getting what you order. read more

My fiancé and I had such a strange experience here. We live in Austin, but were in San Antonio one Saturday and decided to stop in as we are both looking for bands and have heard great things about DD. We walk in, get our names on a list and start browsing. It was about 40 mins before someone spoke to us and the only reason we waited to be called was because I found several bands I liked and was curious about prices. A salesman took us into an office and started giving us the whole spill. He asked where my fiancé got my engagement ring and we told him Spence (in Austin). I'm not sure if it was an act or not, but he was in awe by my ring and asked me to take it off so he could look at it. He was like "this is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen...etc". I was super flattered by his remarks then he continued his spill. He said DD doesn't sell lab grown diamonds only mined. He literally said "I have seen lab grown diamonds and they are disgustingly ugly!" He continued passionately bashing lab grown diamonds for a good 5 mins and my fiancé and I just looked at eachother trying not to bust into laughter because my diamond IS lab grown!! LOLOL. Couldn't he tell?? I mean he literally just inspected one with his little magnifier... HAHAHA we left and just laughed the whole way home and we joke that my ring is disgustingly ugly. They had some gorgeous bands with decent prices and he was willing to work with us on the price, but I'm not sure we would buy from here as we have had great experience with Spence Diamonds. Plus at Spence you don't have to wait to look at anything. read more
