This is actually my first time at an EZ Pawn and I was really impressed. They literally have a little bit of everything so it was a lot of fun to look through. Try on stuff and see if maybe I wanted to start a new hobby or find something and like a huge discounted price. Dusti it's about the workers there she was so sweet and kind. Highly recommend checking it out or bringing in some items that you're trying to get rid of so you can get something back for them and maybe even find something while you're there! read more

Firstly let getting right manager has made the difference. Although he is Navy he is a good person and polite (I am a Marine) He knows how to talk to you and work with you. Training his staff the right way. Prices are good, you should know how to haggle and speak intelligently not in any disrespectful tone. My last purchases here were great and I do appreciate that everything was clean and in working order. Keep up the good work. I'll be back read more

This place is bad ass I bought a rifle from them that was upon inspection never fires and in new condition. It was priced way low. The fat white Nazi as that nit wit Angela s affectionately calls hi was very friendly and helpful. As is their whole staff. I love going in there as I always get great deals. The dipshit who reviewed saying they had one price on games and rang up another is a moron. They have never haf prices on the game's and always price based on market value. Oh and Angela s. I'm sorry but you claiming some one a Nazi because they won't buy your god awful junk..... Makes you sound a little racist and a bitch. read more

Robin is such a rude arrogant waste of "alot"of space the first time I pawned something she lost my TV an didn't apologize or want to go in the back an look for it. Eventually they found it an I went an pawned my dsl game boy the first time she only gave me 25 an I got it out then the second time I pawned it she said yeah I gave you 35 but only cause I was being nice .This fat girl is a pathological liar she lies to herself to make herself sound like a saint. I called today an asked if they were taking cricut machine she was very smug an sarcastic saying yeah can you prove it works? I asked to speak to a manager she's like I'm one of them. No wonder they have such a crappy rating she's the big fat problem literally! read more

There prices are way to high. Worst EZ pawn in New Braunfels. They mark there prices on games and then when you go up to pay they give you a higher price. Not worth going in. read more

First, Robin & Staff offer great customer service everytime, I visit. I spent 45 minutes at counter yesterday afternoon pretty close to close w/ staff pondering over a guitar. Left, went home, did research, and called back to agree on price. I went back today to purchase the guitar and the entire staff is on COVID quarantine for 14 days. The district manager was there, when I went to purchase guitar. I asked then DM directly about the COVID issue explaining, I was there yesterday afternoon within three feet of staff for a long time. He was arrogant, dismissive, and flat out avoided answering the question of whether staff or a customer was COVID positive. I decided due to his attitude not to buy the guitar for the $775 agreed price. I had yet another ttypical EZ Pawn experience, which coming directly from the DM speaks in volume! His main concern, while I was in the store today and was his Pizza Hut delivery order and delivery snafu. He spent most of the time, I was in the store on the phone concentrating on his pizza delivery. Anyone who has ever worked in retail know that many, many district managers are to cheap to buy their employees real food and resort to wanting to appear to care, while choosing the cheapest crappiest food to show they really care! Thanks for caring enough to tell me the reall truth about my potential exposure to COVID while in your store yesterday. You are bad for business. I will not ever make a purchase from EZ Pawn, Half Price Pawn, CAsh America Pawn or any other of the hack stores owned by the parent company in Fort Worth! Again Robin and staff do a great job and I hope known of them have COVID-19. read more

I went to EZ Pawn a few days ago because I wanted to find out if a bracelet I had was real gold. They told me that it was real gold - 10 karat, & offered me a few hundred $ for it. I said I'd think about it. But I had it checked at a jewelry store the next day & was told that it was 18k, which made it worth about $700 more. Guess they thought I'd never know the difference, & they'd make a huge profit. I'll NEVER go to EZ Pawn again. read more

I went into this EZ pawn and they are just down right rude. I had an item in there once before. so when i got into some hard times i went back to see if i could get the same amount. the customer service there stinks. I let the girl know that i had the item there before and if i could get the same amount as before. instead of going to the back to discuss what needed to be discussed both girls in front of me plainly talked about me and was like the manager doesnt care if you brought this in before your NOT going to get the same amount i can give you 2 bucks for it. the item was a 300 item. i was like wow and walked out. I will NEVER go there again read more

I went into EZ Pawn today to get rid of a home theature system that I didn't need any longer. It's a decent "nothing spectacular" sound system. I took it into the store and explained that I had recently moved and no longer needed it. They looked up the model number and it was to old "in a very snide voice". I asked if they could recommend a play I could take it to get rid of it, and they answered the dumpster behind the store. I said thanks and walked out. I get that they are probably only making minimum wage, and always in a pissy mood, but that's no reason to talk to a potential customer that way. I'm not one to NEED to go to a pawn shop, but thought it would be nice to make $5.00 or $10.00 for the system instead of throwing it away. But I'll never go back to any EZ Pawn, and I'll continue to pay retail for everything. read more

Manager there Name is Tony Is insulting and not pleasant to do business with, He uses inner city ebonics like the word bro ect to address you. As to other employees there, the few times I was there, they are competant and professional. sold a item there but was called a husseler because i shopped for a better price other places. Found him to be rash and very imature for a general managment posistion, He may have had a bad day you never know, but still was an experiance that would make me not to want to come back. I know its a pawn shop but I never knew we had to lower business standards becuase so but I assumed wrong. read more

The manager, Robert, at the EZ Pawn in New Braunfels is an ignorant douchebag. When switching out an all-in-one computer that had a ton of issues with one that worked, I pointed out that the replacement one should be a little cheaper than the $299 advertised because the Windows 8 OS on it was not activated. An activation key cost anywhere between $30-$60. After he said he isn't lowering the price anymore because he "has never seen that before," (I pulled it up under the Computer info settings and showed him) he stated that pointing that out is like complaining that Windows Office isn't installed. Really? Last time I checked, Office was an optional program that isn't required, whereas a product key for an Operating System is. The computer would stop running after 30 days without that key. Robert was rude, idiotic, and had a terrible attitude. When I tried explaining the difference between having a properly running OS installed vs. having an optional program, he walked away. I can see why other people don't like this place. Management needs an overhaul. read more
