UPDATE: I could not go into a lot of detail in my previous review, but now I can. I bought an engagement ring from J Keith's Jewelry and my original opinion of Mr. Keith and J Keith's Jewelry has not changed! They are exceptional! My first visit, I went into the store once by myself and Mr. Keith showed me some loose diamonds, I was interested in. I wasn't sure or sold on a diamond yet, but he wrote a note about my favorite stones. I asked him for help with a setting. My fiancée and I found a setting she liked at Jared's, but Mr. Keith showed me how the construction of that ring was not the best. He wasn't pushy and he did not talk poorly about the other business, just was honest. Mr. Keith helped me pick out a similar and better constructed setting and he ordered it into the store so I could see it. He didn't charge me a dime to do it and it showed he really cared. My second visit was with my now fiancée. I told her we were just going to look at a setting I found for her. Mr. Keith was SO smooth! He put the setting on my fiancé's finger, and she loved it. He said, "you can't really get a feel for it unless there's a stone in it." So, he took the three diamonds I had looked at earlier on my first visit and he set them in the ring loosely so she could get a feel for it. She of course fell in love with one, which ended up being the stone I bought. She had no idea she chose her diamond and it made the large purchase a little easier for me. Mr. Keith was totally responsible for that and I'm so thankful. Mr. Keith's exceptional customer service didn't stop there. He was helpful with payment and pickup plans (especially complicated due to COVID) and he even sent our diamond to GIA to get inscribed because I told him I felt more comfortable with an inscribed diamond. He even recommended an excellent jewelry insurance company. Months later, I've proposed, and she has said yes! We are looking forward to going in together to meet with Mr. Keith to purchase wedding bands. Thank you so much Mr. Keith. SIDE NOTE: Mr. Keith's diamonds were exceptional quality for what they were rated in my non-professional opinion. I looked at a lot of magnified diamonds online and in big box stores like Jared's, Zale's, etc. In each instance, a similarly rated diamond in the big box store was exponentially more expensive and worse looking than the stones J Keith's offered. It's rare nowadays to find a better deal in-store rather than online, and with J Keith's I felt like I was able to. The prices weren't "too good to be true" but I felt like J Keith's prices were more competitive with the online diamond stores and his prices definitely blew the big box stores out of the water. We went to a few local and a few national chain stores in Lubbock and had varied experiences at each, but seemed to be bothering some and just "a job" for others. Becky obviously had time for us and welcomed us into the store discussing the many options and helping my wife decide what might "work" for her. She seemed to truly enjoy showing the rings, the diamonds, and the options. She was never pushy and seemed happy to be included on our date. It was something closer to a Disney movie than anything else, with the quote of the day being when she asked an associate to "bring me ALL the diamonds" since we really didn't have an idea of the cut, size, or color we wanted. I don't think I'll ever stray from this store. They obviously care about the customers and want to make sure things work out. Just about all jewelry is pretty, but the experience matters. The Treasures salesman took a look at the ring, mentioned that they could do it in sterling silver (which the other jeweler didn't mention), so I paid extra for a rhodium dip so it wouldn't tarnish. He beat the other jewelers price by half! Also, I have skinny fingers and slightly fat knuckles, which I knew, and they put a sizer on it for free. They told me if it felt too loose, to bring it back and they'd resize it for free (even though they made me exactly what I asked for). I am very happy with my experience.

Actually, Ulysse Nardin is a luxury Swiss watchmaker that has been in business since 1846. According to the last official report of Neuchâtel Observatory in Switzerland, Ulysse Nardin had won numerous awards and honors for its marine chronometers from 1846 to 1975, including 4324 certificates, 2411 special prizes and 10 gold medals at International Exhibitions. By the 1870s, Ulysse Nardin's marine chronometers were in service with over 50 navies and international shipping companies Larry King, Michael Jordan, and Jeff Bezos all proudly wear timepieces from this illustrious watchmaker. The gentleman at Anderson Bros. was obviously attempting to insult me and my choice of watches by declaring it "just an internet brand", but he only succeeded in proving his ignorance. Perhaps he should educate himself prior to attempting to insult customers who enter his shop seeking to make a purchase. I took my watch to a very reputable jeweler in Dallas and they were able to order an OEM replacement band for just under $1200. Anderson Bros is a beautiful store with many nice pieces but they fail miserably in their treatment of customers.

We were greeted by a lady named Sarah, wonderful by the way she was very helpful and efficient with the exchange. The process was so fast with Sarah my fiancé decided she wanted to get her mom something. Sarah was very helpful with that as well she assisted us with a chain she told us where the book was located and we looked at the different jewelry for her mom. The lady walking the floor came and asked to see if we needed any help. She kept going to each showcase stand that we moved to speaking with an aggressive tone. Again, we understand they were about to close but there were other customers. She kept rushing us and making my fiancé feel uneasy and rushed. When we told her to just give us some time she responded "well we are about to close" as if we didn't know. The fact that we weren't the only customers there but were the only ones being rushed and handled in an unprofessional manner rubbed me the wrong way. We have purchased numerous items of jewelry from this location and have had awesome experiences each time but this experience was the complete opposite of what we hold James Avery's customer service level too. The experience that my fiancé and I had tonight really disappointed me in what I thought was a welcoming environment. Definitely a coaching opportunity for that floor representative that worked the closing shift on February 12th.
