The art was very well priced, and I loved the beachy, worn feel of many of the furniture pieces. (Now tempted to redecorate!) I found a beautiful, 100% linen designer jacket, made in the US. It was fun to try it on in the large, comfortable fitting room, with full length mirrors both inside the dressing room, and inside the little alcove next to the room.I wasn't quite sure about if it would go with the skirt and shoes I owned, and asked Beth, the person who was helping me, offered to hold it for me. I returned with my items, tried it all on, and the jacket worked perfectly. And even better, it was on sale! I had a great experience, great customer service, and I feel as if I "discovered" Christine's. I will be back when I am looking for something a little special, and a charming shopping experience.

It's a curated and ever-evolving collection of all things country/cottage/colonial/farmhouse core: expect home decor, pottery, soaps, candles, jewelry, art, trinkets, statues, and more. A few of my favorite things about the spot: 1) it smells so good in here, 2) it's clean, 3) you are absolutely encouraged to take all the time you want perusing, 4) the dedication to local artisans, and 4) the "up and coming artists" wall that features kiddo-made items. Adorable. I ended up with a (one-of-a-kind) locally made vase and a locally made candle for $50. For HOMEMADE pottery? And a HOMEMADE soy candle? The location is in cute Dover and the store is pretty large so I encourage you to go and look on every level, in every nook. I have gotten a few items from here and have never been disappointed. If you see something online they have and cannot get there immediately, just reach out to them and, if not already taken, they will hold one day for you to get there to see if it is what you want to purchase. I also have to say the prices are very reasonable. And, sometimes they do these 20% events - when they do, I try to go up even if I don't think I want or need anything.
