We ordered Ezell's using DoorDash on 7/11/21. Food arrived hot! We ordered an 8-piece mixed chicken, rolls, regular side of coleslaw, regular fries, large Cajun fries. The chicken was absolutely delicious-- crispy and juicy! Rolls and coleslaw were good, too, both tasted fresh! Fries were ok, but fries usually travel poorly. I wanted to try more of their menu items, (baked beans, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes), but I wasn't able to order off the app. Glitch? Operator error? Maybe just not available? Will definitely eat Ezell's again! Ezell's should look into opening in the Bremerton area! read more

I went inside and asked what kind of oil they fry in. They use Canola oil which is very unhealthy as it was originally made as a mechanical oil. If you have bad stomach aches after eating here, then this is why. Peanut or Avocado oil would be much healthier! read more

I've been going to Ezell's since they opened up in the CD on 23rd. I did quit going eating there for quite a while due to extremely poor service at the CD location and managers that didn't really care about making sure the employees provided great customer service. I moved my office to a block away from the location on 140th. Fortunately, the service at this location is very good. The staff is fairly attentive in taking the order, however obtaining your order is where the drop off in service occurs. The expediter seems a little indifferent to the customers that are in the restaurant and prioritize the orders coming in from the online services. The quality of service really depends on the person who takes care of distributing the orders. Some days it's spectacular, some you wonder why that person is working there. The chicken is great and the side dishes compliment it. The issue is consistency. I like the food, it's priced well and convenient. I would go there more often if the service was consistent. read more

Well that was a complete waste of time & money. Ordered up a three piece spicy tenders & a mac n cheese. Get home, tenders have zero spice, nor did it have any flavor at all. Mac n cheese was the worst I've ever had, didn't have any cheese flavor & the texture was so sad, like it had been in the steamer since six A.M. soggy slop. I let them know of my disappointment, I don't think they cared one bit, instructed to return for refund. I tossed it all in the trash. You are so much better off grabbing a roasted chicken from Winco, excellent flavor, great price, and I think it's even more food. What a disappointment, for Southern cooking I can recommend "Grandma's In The Kitchen", that's what it's supposed to taste like! Not fried but Southern flavors pop out at you for sure! This was only my second time here, and I still wasn't impressed. Although the crust was tasty, the chicken on the bone had almost no flavor to me. Once I put some garlic salt on the actual meat, I liked it better. We also ordered the regular chicken strips which seemed to have a bit more flavor, but they were also quite chewy. The Buffalo strips were about the same, but they did have good flavor. They really weren't spicy, though, compared to other Buffalo wings we have had, and my husband said they were not saucy enough for his taste. We also ordered "jumbo" sides of Mac and cheese and baked beans which were flavorful, and all five of us got a small spoonful to eat with dinner. The rolls were fluffy and huge, but didn't really add much except a filler to our meal. All in all, the food was definitely fresh and tasted okay. I might try them again for lunch some time since they seem to have good lunch specials, but for the cost of dinner for an entire family, I don't think I would do it again. read more

Even with a pre-existing corona belly, sometimes you need fried chicken. My phone just tried to change "fried" to "friend" chicken which just proves my phone doesn't know me at all... but Ezell's is my new best friend, so no worries. I got both regular recipe and spicy OH MY SPICY GOOD. But both kinds are awesome fried chicken. Mac and Cheese? GOOD. Crinkle Fries? GOOD. Peach Cobbler (I see you judging me, stop it) SO GOOD. Oddly, the real surprise was the ROLLs... I almost feel like rolls are akin to that decorative greenery you sometimes get with food, probably not worth eating...but these were AMAZING. Since my daughter had previously brought some Ezell's from West Seattle and it was excellent, I thought I'd order some from Edmonds. That was a mistake. I don't know whether it was because I ordered for pickup instead of coming in, but I arrived a full 5+minutes early, and there it was waiting. Not only was it lukewarm, but dry, dry, dry. People were nice, slow cooked beans were good but that chicken??? Not crispy, not seasoned with literally anything, not even salt and they were a white-ish color as if they were only in that deep fryer for half the time... For a chicken place I would expect a golden brown or at least somewhat brown shade to your chicken tenders....I'll stick to KFC. read more

It's a very generic product. The honey mustard sauce was labeled as "Ken's Steak House." The service was pretty bad. I walked in after an angry drive through customer had to get his order fixed. The orders are brought out in some sort of order that in no way resembles your number. This review is for the Edmonds location, we are so happy to have a location convenient to home. We normally order take out and it's always been on time and double checked so we haven't missed anything when we get home. The only problem I have is everyone in the family has a different favorite, regular tenders, spicy tenders, and my husband somehow sneaks in a two piece spicy meal! The rolls are so good we always order extra plus mac and cheese, fries, corn and mashed potatoes and gravy. We make it expensive because we order extra sides too, but everything together makes such a delicious meal! Placed my online at 6:04pm pickup was 6:37pm. 7:02pm finally receives order. Gentlemen wearing Seahawks jersey had very sucky attitude when taking the order of an older customer and after i asked how much longer he said typically it's 20-25 minutes wait welll I placed an hour ago then turned and mumbled whatever he said. If you hate dealing with customers shouldn't be the place for him especially when the worker makes the customers feel like an inconvenience. I like ezells spicy fried chicken, spicy chicken tenders and Buffalo chicken tenders with blue cheese sauce. Dont worry, I can't handle much spice and I can handle, its mild. I always get Cajun fries over the regular ones. I never have to wait long, even when they're busy ( good job to the staff making food!). The staff is very nice and helpful. To Ezell's chicken in Edmonds for the 1st time, I have never had their chicken before and was very very disappointed chicken had no flavor very plain chicken and the macaroni and cheese was horrible the only thing that tasted anyway have decent was the baked beans I would not recommend this and with never go back again. read more
