Plus she was careful to recheck one of my sides with the kitchen before bringing it to the table. We did ask about the chips based on previous reviews, our server reassured us they are GF. There were a lot of options for drinks and food, and chips and salsa were complementary. The Mexican street corn was grilled and topped with a savory sauce, cheese, and spice. It was a good dish to share. The pork tacos were tasty, with lots of avocado and pickled onions on top, and spicy sauce on the side. It also came with rice and beans, so the portion was definitely large. They had a shrimp pasta, which was surprisingly tasty. It came with tons of shrimp and a slightly spicy and creamy sauce, as well as toasted bread on the side. The enchiladas were a solid option with lots of sauce and cheese on it. The servers were all very friendly and fast.

The meat would have be a lot better if the seasoning was different (they should add garlic salt and chile pepper to it for more flavor). It was an extremely underwhelming bland lime seasoning. On top of that, the meat tasted old (it tasted of oxidized grease!). However, the texture of both the chicken and beef was very good. Their shrimp and salsa were great! Additionally, it appears their tortillas are made in house. They were good, but the flour tortillas smelled and tasted like corn tortillas! The two types of tortillas are probably pre-prepared and stored in a heater together there. Because of this, there was a corn taste in their flour tortillas. Overall, the food was okay enough. They really should add more seasoning and change it up! We were disappointed the two different plates used the exact same bland seasoning (that wasn't that great). The overall ambiance of the place also seemed well. They have light musics playing in the background and soccer games playing on the TVS.

The chicken in my taco was super dry, my queso tasted soapy, the green salsa on the salsa bar had no substance to it and tasted like spicy water, the cucumber/onion mix that usually has a nice vinegar base was salty and watered down, and to top it all off, half my husbands tortilla to his taco was missing! . It was a disappointment all around. I get every restaurant can have an "off" day, but this experience felt like a noticeable decline in quality all around.
