That is, after all, what a review is for. To clarify, I contacted you through this app on the 20th, you are correct. However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews. This isn't personal, I don't know you. I just simply did not have a good experience with your company.

We had a great experience with U-Pack/ABF! We used 2 relocubes to move from Alabama to Boston, MA,…read moreand the process was seamless! ABF contacted us right away and delivered the relocubes. We packed those the same day, and the relocubes were picked up the next. We were able to easily track our shipment the entire trip. Once we arrived to Boston, the relocubes were delivered in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company!! Helpful tips: 1. You will need 2 padlocks per relocube. So 2 relocubes will require 4 padlocks. 2. ABF can not guarantee a set time for delivery or pickup. 3. For delivery of the cube, they give you a window of 4 hours. The truck driver will call you before they arrive. If it is raining, they are unable to get the forklift off the truck because they will not be able to reload it-- too slick. So you may have to reschedule. They were very helpful and came after-hours to make sure I was taken care of. 4. For pickup of the cube, they do not give you a window. They only let you know it will be picked up the day you schedule. 5. If you need it delivered one day, unloaded, and picked up the next-- you can call the local center and have it scheduled for pickup-- but not booked. Once it is unloaded, you can call back and officially book the pickup.

The booking process was somewhat rocky, with the company taking several days to call me back and then several more days after that to send me the final move details. But ultimately I appreciated the formality of the process and the clear contract terms in writing. On the day of the move, our two movers arrived on time and with their own dolly. They were great overall and managed (with our help) to get all of our furniture into our van--a feat I was not sure would be possible when I realized how much stuff we have. We tipped each mover in cash for their hard work. My primary complaint is that we were charged for 2.5 hours of work when the movers were at our home for only 1.5 hours. Even with transportation time to/from their warehouse included, our total time should have been within the 2 hour window we were quoted, as our home is only a 7 minute drive from their company. I was annoyed that we were charged more by the company for no apparent reason, other than they could.

First they were late, then the main guy showed up with his son and some trash bags. They basically put some clothes in a trash bag. I blew my car horn, but he did not stop. He entered onto Perry Hill Road then rolled his window down to tell me when I see a truck I need to stop or get out the way. Once I arrived at my destination, I called the company to report his actions. Driving a moving van does not give the driver the right to disregard traffic laws and road rules.

They securely wrapped the TVs and any glass furniture. Carefully loaded and unloaded boxes and carried things upstairs fast and with no complaints. They moved a 4 bedroom house in just under 3 hours while being very careful. I have them bottled water twice and we ripped them $100 each for working in the heat plus during covid.
