I wanted either a drink or something cool to eat. When I saw their fruit bars in several different flavors, that sounded perfect. I decided on the strawberry fruit bar. She made it seem like we were there to get drunk??? She had an attitude basically the whole time she was talking to me. For no reason. At one point I said "never mind" and wanted to walk away but she tried to make up for her attitude and gave us a couple options to try. The tequila was great and both my boyfriend and I agreed we were gonna come back to purchase the Suavecito (but we already had our hearts set on a wine from a wine sample we tried). The gentleman at the wine section was a whole lotttt friendlier. Since we tried a couple of tequila samples and didn't buy any tequila at the time, when we walked away, she said "All that and you still didn't buy anything". Girl. The attitude. Just flat out rude. If you're so miserable at your job, find a new one. Also it's so uncomfortable being followed around the whole time you shop there. Literally feels like hawks around you. I definitely won't be back. The wine is good tho!

It wasn't easy for me to find parking, even late at night, but I did find one space nearby. It seemed like about 20-25% of their floorspace is alcohol, but in the rest they have a very wide variety of things, tailored to the local college student population. They have a small selection of fresh produce, they have fresh meats and cheeses, as well as a lot of canned/preserved foods and frozen foods. They also have a small/basic selection of pet supplies and they have kitchen utensils. Overall this seems like a very versatile shop, having just about everything you need, until 2am. The place was clean, well lit, and I was very comfortable shopping late at night. The cashier was polite and friendly, though he didn't offer me a receipt and I didn't notice until later, and I would have liked one. Oh well. I bought a pre-made turkey & cheese croissant sandwich for $7 and it was decent.

When I got to the register, the lady rang me up and said it was going to be 2199 each. I let her know that the sign posted where these are listed on the shelf was 1999 in two different places. On the shelf and also in a different area in a refrigerated case. Both said $19.99. The lady at the register said the manager could override one of them, but not both of the boxes that I was going to purchase. I said that didn't make sense because it wasn't the right price that was posted. They said that's what it is and I said well it's Miss marked and they said no that's for green tea. There was no green tea. Nowhere. And by the way, the box for this is green and it is tea. It didn't make any sense and they literally argued with me and would not give me the two dollar difference to purchase the items. They got huge attitude and was completely rude with me. I was very calm and just stated that it didn't seem right that they didn't have anything listed for $21.99 for any type of Surfside. I let them know that the only price is listed were $19.99 for all of the Surfside beverages. And there were no Surfside beverages for $21.99. I ended up leaving without purchasing most of what I was there to buy because of the terrible attitude of the "supervisor" Ladon LaShawn or some name like that. It's awful to be treated so disrespectfully and not have them honor the price that they're listing for items. By the way, that's actually called false advertising. I will never go back here again strictly because of being treated so rudely when they're the ones that made a mistake in listing the prices for their items. Blaming a customer for your mistake and causing them to pay six dollars more because I was going to buy three boxes, is just bad business. Now they lost all of that money over six stupid dollars. They can kiss my butt. I will not be back! Drove to total wine and it's $16.99... bought 3!! Thank you for being customer friendly, Total Wine!
