Got 4 estimates from 5 star reviewed companies, and Revival had the best price. Then a friend said insurance may pay for it, so I filed a claim. Insurance adjuster only wanted to repair the roof. Revival said the existing shingle is no longer made, so they should pay for the whole roof. Insurance adjuster had Revival remove a shingle and insurance company sent it out to see if shingles were available. Adjuster said they still make the shingle and said a place in Akron sells the shingle. Revival went to Akron twice to get the allegedly matching shingle, but when placed on the roof next to the existing shingle, the difference was night and day. Not anywhere close to matching. After 3 months, the insurance company finally agreed to pay for the whole roof to be re-shingled. Revival came 2 days later and put a new roof on in one day. Revival's patience and perseverance in dealing with the insurance company saved me thousands of dollars. I was willing to pay out of pocket because I knew the singles were old and needed replaced before the storm blew shingles off the roof. They could've just took the cash and saved themselves the hassle of dealing with my insurance company that just kept making them jump thru more hoops, but they didn't because the insurance is supposed to pay for claims like mine. I appreciate them going above and beyond to get my roof claim paid.

From the FEW that actually had the courtesy to answer my call, make the appointment, show up on time and then provide a written quote in a timely manner, Jason at AB Drain won the job hands down! He spent over an hour at my house on a Saturday evening going over the causes of the constant water pooling in my yard and answered every question in a way that I could tell he knew his stuff! I made my mind up before he even left my property that night. When I received his quote, he was extremely thorough explaining each step in great detail, something that was severely lacking with the other few quotes I received. The best part was that his price was under our budget and was the second lowest but included much more that the others did not include, such as hauling away the excess dirt from the french drain, grading out the yard afterwards and using high grade piping instead of that black corrugated garbage!! He kept us in the loop approaching the start date and throughout the job itself, providing us updates daily. I wasn't there for two of the days but he took hundreds of photos during the job that were awesome seeing how it all came together and what is now under the grass!! His crew worked their butts off without taking lengthy breaks or talking on their phones all day...God bless them! Jason was on the job the entire time, which you don't see often being that he is the owner. He was just as dirty and sweaty as his crew at the end of the days. It took them 5 days to install 400 feet of french drain, a sump pump and then 300 feet of downspout drains that all drained into a small retention pond he installed at the back of our farm. I won't lie that I questioned whether it would function as he promised but since the install it has poured many times with local flooding even. Those rains would leave out yard as a swamp for weeks afterwards but not now! It all worked in unison and leaves our yard functional, dry and our plot able to take on seed for the first time in a decade without washout concern! These guys are top notch! Jason provided a transferable lifetime warranty on labor, which was not offered by any of the others who submitted bids (and charged more than him)! I would recommend them to anybody that appreciates attention to detail, quality of work, personalized customer service, and an all around professional approach when in a similar drainage nitemare like we used to be stuck in! They helped us decide what was the best option for us and completed the job very quickly. They even came out to fix one spot that we didn't like with out hesitation or question. The only thing we thought was odd was when they came to the house to get the payment. We thought we would mail it but she wanted it right then. Not a huge deal for us but we've never done that before. We are very happy with the end product. It is a beautiful stamped concrete patio and sidewalk.

During that time we had several leaks and the crew leader shook it off saying "I have insurance" as if to say "not my problem we cannot keep a schedule or install roofing correctly". Mike had also promised some "gift cards" to make up for the inconvenience (never saw them, was happier to see the crew finally leave). And lastly, we are still having issues with our porch roof leaking and they never bothered to even email, phone concerning the issue. My advice from our experience is to steer clear of this contractor at all costs!
