I brought my mom to see the optometrist because she really needs new prescription glasses…read more We filled in the intake form. After 35 mins, the assistant did some initial tests. At 55 mins, the optometrist saw her and did more tests like an eye chart. The optometrist is a pleasant person. I sat in the room with the optometrist. He did quite a thorough examination. He is good with seniors. My mom likes to talk a lot, and so does the optometrist.  The issue is that the appointment lasted a total of 2 hours instead of the usual 45 mins. As they both kept speaking and telling stories, the optometrist kept doing his work, so I thought it wasn't finished. At some point, I spoke up and said we are late for other appointments.  Then the optometrist said I should have spoken up earlier because he was done 30 mins prior! What?! Perhaps the things he was doing were optional. If it weren't for the extended talking and stories, I would have given a 5-star rating. There is no free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is free parking in the strip mall parking lot. Review 2023-199

I have been going here for years now and I have loved every experience that my girls and I have…read morehad. We started coming here because our old dentist FIRED my daughter (8 at the time) because she was too scared and fidgety and fought the techs because they scared her. Dr. Joe agreed to see her and said if it didn't work then go to a pediatric dentist but he felt she'd be fine. He spoke with her like a person, gave her control of her appointment and kept her engaged. The appointment was over before she even realized it and she is about to turn 20. We have dealt with my own severe dental issues, surgeries, extractions, plates, braces, reconstruction....you name it. The ENTIRE team has taken care of our family and our needs and I could not imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Joe, Dr. Habib, all the technicians and team. We feel well cared for, safe and in great hands after what was a terrible start with another clinic (after it changed hands) and 3 terrified of dental appointment patients now look forward to our visits. Wanted the truth about how Dr. Joe and his team care for their patients out there.

I was referred to Dr Huq for carpal tunnel release surgery. I found him to be personable,…read moreknowledgeable and prompt. From the initial consultation, through to the bookings of the surgeries (both hands done at different times), it was smooth sailing. He explained the procedure and the risks fully. On surgery date, from reception who did intake, to the anaesthesiologist who administered the local, then Dr. Huq who did the surgery (slightly more than 2 minutes), to the resident who was there learning then sutured the incision, to the associate who bandaged my hand, I could not have had a more positive experience. I was expecting pain the first night, but relative to the pain of living with carpal tunnel that interferes with sleep, for the first time in years I slept soundly. Dr Huq followed up a few days post op to ensure that things were going well. I could not have asked for better care or a better result. Kudos.
