This year, I was eligible for a new pair of glasses through VSP, but working 8-5 makes it tough to get in and browse frames during normal business hours. This past Saturday, I came in right before closing to order some contacts, and looked at glasses while I waited for them to pull up my prescription. Mikaela (hope I spelled this right) asked if I wanted to try some on, and helped me pick out a really cute pair of frames that I wouldn't have even thought to try on myself. She went above and beyond the call of duty and stayed to help me order my glasses. I really appreciate her amazing customer service and great eyewear advice. I will definitely continue to be a happy customer of Eye Specialists/Fixations for years to come. #thankyouthursday

On May 6th I walked into the Papillion office to schedule a cataract evaluation with Dr. Thomas…read moreGrange. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and condescending. She questioned why I thought I needed the evaluation. I told her at my last visit Dr Grange told me to come back and to say it was a medical appt. He said not to use my vision insurance. I am not sure what this woman's deal was, but she was not helpful, and just plain rude. It was very upsetting that she treats patients this way. Today I called to cancel the appointment as I felt very uneasy about that office. Dr Grange is a great doctor! But the staff need training on how to work with the public. I have purchased many pairs of glasses and have referred many to use your location. I will not be returning, as I know many I have sent have not been happy there as well, and expressed their dissatisfaction. There are many eye doctors all over the metro. Sometimes places need to be reminded the completion is great!

When I was contemplating Lasik, he answered all my questions, even about lasik providers he hadn't initially recommended. They also have a good selection of glasses and they're helpful in determining how to max your vision benefits. I've recommended this place to many friends who also live in the area!

There's just one optometrist here: Dr. Dozon. I've found Dr. Dozon to be extraordinarily good at listening, good at explaining what I don't understand, and competent and thorough in his exams. He's always contributing his services to the community, so by supporting his business, I feel like I'm also supporting a good cause. Despite the relatively small size, the office stays up-to-date with equipment and best practices. The vibe here is far different from most optometrists. The office is comfortable, unhurried, and personal. I always get the sense of being served, not "processed." The office has soft lighting and soft, comfortable furniture. The biggest downside is when selecting frames. The selection of frames is pretty good, but they are generally reluctant to special order if what you want isn't in stock. To achieve the best vision, it is vitally important that frames fit perfectly; unfortunately, the staff always encourage me to look at style first, and they're often unable to answer specific questions about sizing and fitting. To be honest, you shouldn't shop for glasses here unless you already know your bridge width, temple length, and lens width. If you do visit, be sure to ask for directions the first time. You have to go around back of the building then up to the second floor.

They've managed to stay with the times, though their facade is very dated (but in a Stars Hollow way) with stores like the simple man, and made in omaha, to inkwell, mootz pizza, and timberwood bistro, there is a lot happening on any given day. Theres a lot stores that offer a variety of services and it's centrally located right off of 84th and pacific. There is also ample parking in their lots, and I am happy to see it continue to be a main stay.

Since the Bookworm relocated, I don't come here that often aside from trips to Le Quartier Bakery but there are many cute shops, restaurants and businesses here. The parking lot usually seems pretty full but it's possible some of that is overflow parking from Westside High School across the street when they have events. Pretty easy to get in and out and park close to your desired location. Their website said it was built in 1953 and was on the edge of town at that time. Also : "In today's world of super-sized stores and mega-malls, Countryside Village stands out as a counterpoint. Cozy and familiar, confident but humble, easy and convenient, and above all unique."
