Techs are nice and work efficiently, but now they…read morejust dilate you eyes without even asking, and then they can't/wont do an actual lens exam to check your eyeglass prescription (at least last year the techs noticed they did not do that, and asked if I wanted to come back for the vision exam, but this year just said I was "fine" after I read lines on the eye chart). I had trouble with reading lines on one of the exams, and when the doc came in I asked him why I was not able to read anything but the highest line when I had to read through this eye cup with a small aperture - he just said I was "fine except oh you have a small cataract, but its fine." And then he left. He was in for all of 3 minutes. And this is after I had to reschedule, and the earliest appointment was 3 months out "because the doctor only comes in once a month." Maybe if they worked more than once a month you could actually get the doctor to talk to you instead of the doctors blasting through the appointment in 3 minutes flat and not listening to anything you ask, or explaining anything they do. I guess a real vision exam is too much trouble for them - they've just winnowed it down to the least they can do to not get sued for negligence, I guess. I don't think I'll be back.

They helped us navigate Illinois' onerous FOID requirements and had our guns waiting after the IL delay period. They also held back 9 mm ammo for also after there was a run on ammo with the covid pandemic and summer rioting to ensure we had ammo after buying the guns. I had previously tried to buy the guns at Gander Mountain and I waited over an hour for one person to wait on me who was not nearly as knowledgable and the prices were significantly higher at Gander Mountain even with the Sam's Club discount there. This is the only place I will buy guns and ammo in Southern Illinois.
