I have been through certification in a few states, but none has been as thorough as the training Dave conducts. Is it monotonous if you already know what you're doing, perhaps. But if, like me, you desire to always know the laws of each state, and you enjoy a good refresher, Five Rings Armory is great for the seasoned pro as well as the absolute beginner. Dave is friendly and well versed is all things "weaponry" related. It is obvious that he takes great pride in making sure his students understand the safety and precautions necessary when handling firearms. Once on the range, he and his team are meticulous and measured to ensure each firearm is secure and that each pupil does what is necessary for certification. Five Rings offers courses at different times for different skill levels and has an accessible facility and parking. All of scheduling information can be found on the website. I enjoyed the weekend course which included a mix of skill levels: some professionals and some beginners. I cant comment too much on the sales side, other than they seemed knowledgeable and never pushy as I kicked some ZTR tires. I've been coming here for years and have NEVER had a bad experience.
