I can't speak for every employee but Erica really left her mark (with tint) on my face... I used to tint my own brows and it never turned out this horrible. The wax job itself was fine - she mapped out my face and left what she think I needed to grow out but it still looked messy once I scrubbed the tint off, which hurt considering it wasn't easy to remove. Let's just say I left not being able to look anyone in the eyes. How embarrassing! On a plus side, the inside of this business is very well taken care of and decorated nicely. As for leaving happy with the service, this was a bad experience for me and the $69 I lost.

I did a little bit of digging before choosing to try out Mimi's, and this place is one of the cheapest permanent hair removal locations in the area. I had a 3 session package for underarm hair removal. She started with a lower intensity for safety reasons initially. I thought it had no effect, but the hairs fell out on their own after a few weeks, and I was surprised! The second and third sessions were with higher intensity, and you do feel a bit more during the treatment. The flashes of light hurt a tiny bit, but as most of us women know, it's like a mosquito bite compared to ripping out your hair with an epilator or wax strip! After 3 sessions, you really see the difference! Even after months of leaving it alone, I basically have no more hair growth in my armpits! There are a few stragglers that I could probably take care of with her touch-up appointments, but those stragglers are so fine and thin now, they're hardly noticeable. I never break out for the products and the process is quick and not-so-painful. While not stopping my retinol usage was totally on me, I wish they had asked me that over the phone when I was making the appt. When walking in I was greeted, and was instantly seated and given colors since I was doing gel. Granted I was the only one in the salon, but still being greeted and welcomed in was very nice! I chose the 3rd level up of pedicure which was the deluxe and it costed $52. Keep in mind for $52 I think that was a great price. She did the hot stones, pumice, some type of scrub and really messaged for about 20-30 minutes. She didn't rush on me but instead took her time. She was also very gentle, and never too rough which can't be said the same about my last nail salon. The basic express one is I believe 32-33, I can't remember exact price. I'm very quiet and they respected that, and didn't force any conversation upon me which made me really happy. I also got acrylics in an almond shape and they came out fantastic! I showed him a picture and he replicated it exactly how I wanted. I'm not sure on the price of the acrylics, but it's definitely not anything crazy. My total came out to $120, and I used the ATM because I do believe they prefer cash. He of course gave me the option for card, but it takes two seconds to pull it out of an ATM. I left a $20 tip because the service was awesome, and I enjoyed my whole time there. They also do a reward system, which I received the card today for it, since it was my first visit! I highly recommend this nail salon. I definitely plan on coming back!

Waxing can be intimidating, and if done incorrectly, can be extremely painful and regretful. I had my fair share of terrible waxes in my lifetime. But guess what, none of them have been here. Been coming to Bombshell for the last decade and I've had nothing but great service over the years from everyone I've encountered. I've "Happily" spent my money here on my Fiancée and I and continue to do so consistently. Sooooooo...if you've read this much of my review, then I've already made your mind up for you Experience Bombshell, get off of the fence you are metaphorically on, and you'll understand why so many people love it here and keep coming back.

Their attendants are habitually late at performing services but once, when my teenage daughter was just 8 minutes late, not only did they deny her service, they insisted that one of her services be deducted from her account. I had noticed in a previous post that someone put an image of a "Notice to Vacate" on the door of the business and it didn't surprise me at all - what goes around, comes around. It's pretty simple - the Golden Rule - treat people the way you want to be treated. Again, this "Bombshell" waxing incident was from 5 years ago on the northshore but I still remember it as though it was yesterday. Fortunately, I have not had to experience shockingly poor customer service at this level by any business. Just dreadful. Hopefully they have changed their policies and treat people as humans.
