Vicky took me and she was super nice and made beautiful recommendations since I wasn't sure what I wanted to get when I came in. I ended up getting a solar set with four flower encapsulated nails. She pulled out all the flowers she had with her and then suggested some foils that I looked at while she shaped my nails. She was very attentive and paid a lot of attention to detail which I really appreciate. She even went as far as to go on the back side of the nail and file down any spare acrylic which I've never had done before. She made sure she filed down the thickness of the front as well. Whenever I went to my main salon (cute nails don't get me wrong) they always made the nails way too thick and left me wanting more from them. But I can truly say I left 100% happy with my set from L'amour. They were also playing super calming music which almost put me to sleep since I was so relaxed. If you're looking for a nail salon that does on-trend nail designs that look like the pictures (if not better) then you need to see Vicky. I'm glad to have found a new favorite nail salon. He is the reason they didn't just get one star. Based on this experience I made an appointment for today at 1pm, again on my lunch hour, for a basic pedicure. I arrived right on time for my 1pm appointment and not only was every person there with a client they appeared to have just started full sets on everyone. At 1:12 I inquired as to how much longer the wait would be and explained that I was on a schedule, which is why most people make appointments. Of course, I was told 5 minutes. I was seated in a pedicure chair by an older gentleman who turned on the (scalding hot) water and returned to glueing tips on his client. When I told him the water was entirely too hot for me to even put my feet in he simply turned it off leaving me to wait with my feet resting on the side of the bowl. At this point I just wanted them to hurry up with what they were doing. I informed them - at 1:30 - that I was leaving as I could not wait any longer. They all simply watched me walk out the door with no acknowledgement or apology. Here's a suggestion. Do NOT accept appointments if you cannot honor them. And don't be rude to those customers who made an appointment, showed up on time for their appointment, then were essentially ignored and jerked around.

I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I am happy with my results and would recommend Katie to anyone, especially redheads!

She squeezed me in for the next day and gave me detailed address info so that I wouldn't have any problems finding the place. She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. The whole process took about 2 hours and the lashes lasted for weeks. Katie did an amazing job, plus she's super sweet with awesome customer service. 100% recommend.

I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.
