**TL;DR: If 0 stars was an option, that's what I would give. Eyecarecenter on Owen Drive was extremely disappointing. The staff was initially friendly, but they aggressively pushed expensive frames not covered by insurance. My glasses arrived late with the wrong prescription, and my concerns were dismissed. After a condescending retest and further delays, my husband intervened to expedite the order. When I got a scratch on the lenses, they gave me incorrect information about having a warranty. They were unprofessional, pushy, and dismissive. I won't be returning.**

I had a very disappointing experience with Eyecarecenter. Initially, my first visit started off well. The staff was friendly during my eye exam, but everything went downhill once I began the process of selecting glasses.
The sales associate aggressively pushed me towards frames that were not covered by my insurance. My plan covers up to $130 for frames, yet she was insistent on selling me a pair costing $300 with additional add-ons, telling me it would "only be $500." When I declined, she seemed quite insistent, asking, "are you sure?"
The glasses were supposed to arrive in 7-10 days, but it took two weeks. Even worse, the prescription in my left eye was incorrect. When I called them to fix this, they remeasured everything and insisted that the measurements were correct, essentially dismissing my concerns. I was told I needed a retest but couldn't be seen that day because the available doctor "doesn't want to see you unless you're her patient." This forced me to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate another visit.
During the retest, the doctor made faces and seemed skeptical that my prescription was wrong. Despite my careful responses, he implied that his tests were always accurate and that my issues were unfounded. He then condescendingly explained how to break in my glasses, as if I hadn't been wearing glasses since I was 12 (I'm 23 now).
After being told again that the glasses would take 7-10 days, I called almost two weeks later only to be informed that there was a processing glitch and it would be another 7-10 days. My husband called back to discuss compensation for the inconvenience, and suddenly they claimed the glasses would be ready in three days and that the order had been processed.
**Update 1:** I FINALLY got my glasses AFTER both my husband and I called multiple times. They were good.
**Update 2:** I got a scratch in the lenses a couple of days later. I called to see if they could help me. They pulled my account and told me I had a warranty on the glasses and to bring them in for repair. When I went in, they looked me up and told me I did not have a warranty and that there was nothing I could do. The lady who pulled up my account over the phone never told me I didn't have a warranty.
This place is incredibly unprofessional, pushy, and dismissive. They don't listen to their customers or take responsibility for their errors. I cannot recommend Eyecarecenter and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more
