Even when he gets home late, he can call Dr. Vernard who will meet him at his office after hours to extract them and give an antibiotics drops prescription. I myself have had a branch scrape my eye before, and I was able to have him check it out with my mom at 10 pm. Or sometimes they will get us in at last minute during the day if we need it. So he really cares about the people who come in. The office itself is a stand alone one and looks warm and inviting. Dr. Vernard is great for kids and adults, and they a selection of cute frames, including the Lisa Loeb collection.

He came up with a plan to allow me to test his recommendation for several days, using a minimalist approach to make sure that I'd only get what I really needed(and wanted). In my case, Monovision was highly recommended. Turns out, I was already seeing in Monovision, but without any clarity! On surgery day, Tina rechecked my vision and got me prepped for Dr Belardo, who also made sure I understood the procedure. All of this took longer than the actual surgery- in less than 10 minutes it was all done! I had the procedure done on Friday and was back to work on Monday, but could have easily worked Sunday. The Monovision has worked great for me. I regularly wear sunglasses at work and needed replacement lenses. After 2 follow up appointments, Tina made sure I had a good prescription and got the proper lenses to fit my particular needs. Thanks to the whole team for great service and an awesome overall experience.

Get a bill several months later for $100 because the Dr/staff coded the routine visit as dry eyes visit. After multiple phones calls to get the correct code on the chart. No solution. That's what the Dr said per the staff. So we are in the search for a new place to check on the eyes. No different than a routine Dr visit with primary care and they ask you about your heart you mention your heart races when you go upstairs -It doesn't become a specialized visit and coded as a heart cardiologist visit . I can't believe they get away with things like this. Hopefully nobody else gets robbed by this clinic. Sad that's how they do "business" Respectfully an angered decent insurance holder. I've had a stable prescription of -5.75 in my left eye and -5.25 in my right for over 10 years…read more When I came to Omni Eye Center, they changed my contacts to -6.00, and my vision was blurry for an entire year. I also had headaches almost every day that whole time. I had no idea the contacts were the cause until I moved back to Texas and saw my regular eye doctor, who confirmed the -6.00 was too strong and the change was unnecessary. On top of that, about a third of the contacts they gave me were folded and creased when I opened them, so I couldn't wear them at all. A year of blurry vision and constant headaches is a lot to go through because of a prescription change I never needed. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone who wants an accurate, careful exam.
