I had the lens replacement surgery in December of 2021. It is now 11 months later and I love it! I wish I would have done it sooner. No reading glasses, no progressive lenses no glasses required at all! The only thing I miss is that I used to have the glasses that would turn into sunglasses automatically but now I have to remember my sunglasses! Dr. Luke and the clearsight team are absolutely amazing. I was extremely apprehensive about the procedure but, the team was very friendly and explained each step thoroughly. The lasik procedure itself was much quicker than I expected. I couldn't exactly time it but, I would say it was between 5 - 10 min. I was also surprised there was no pain involved. I was grateful for that! I only felt a little pressure as they started each eye. When they were finished they had me relax a little while while they reviewed the discharge instructions. Later that day I even received a text from Dr. Luke himself to check in with me and see how I was doing. They have vision surgery down to an art form. I had custom lens replacement yesterday at noon. My vision was blurry yesterday. I couldn't read. But today I am clear enough to text. The surgery was equal to having a crown at the dentist. It isn't the most fun, but it was definitely tolerable. Today, I can see. I looked at myself in the mirror clearly without glasses in I can't remember how long. I can see to read and to text. Everyone was super pleasant. I had a bad taste in my mouth from the valium they gave me to calm my nerves. It tasted bad so they even gave me a mint to get the bad taste out of my mouth. I knew I was going to do LASIK and I wanted Dr Wilson to do my surgery because of all the positive reviews he had. I had a pretty good experience. The staff, aside from one of the optometrist (who I think is leaving) was very nice and professional. I've worn glasses or contacts since I was in 4th grade. And now I have 20/20 vision in both eyes. The price of the procedure is pretty steep... but they apparently use the latest technology. It also cost more if you have astigmatism. My eyes felt good 3-4 days after surgery. I had LASIK in Jan 2016 and I'm so glad I did! It took me 10 years to commit; it sounded so scary! The whole experience was excellent. The staff was so supportive, they coach you along the whole way, and Dr Wilson was just wonderful! Both eyes were done in less than 12 minutes. The recovery was next to nothing. The greatest things for me about LASIK - I travel a lot and now I don't have to pack contact lens & rewettting solutions, extra contacts, or glasses. Also, I can see the alarm clock as soon as I wake up and don't have to fumble for my glasses to let my dogs out at the crack of dawn. Went in for a consultation, all was good said I was 100% a perfect candidate for lasik. Scheduled a surgery date and went in to have it done. Spent 3 hours sitting in the lobby while they had some meeting that determined they would rather wait on doing the procedure on me until they get some new technology but it is not known when they will get it. Even though they have done the procedure they had planned on doing to me on "over 50,000 people" they would not do what they promised they would at the consultation. Complete waste of my time and having to take off work for two days following the procedure they wouldn't even do. Maybe you need to slow down on volume and take more time to care about your patients rather than waste their time. read more

My vision was not horrible, but bad enough to be extremely annoying on days I had forgotten my glasses or contacts. I finally decided to schedule a consultation at ClearSight. I worked primarily with Dr. Luke. Dr. Luke is a younger guy but do not let that fool you into thinking he is not highly trained. This guy is the real deal. The entire process from front desk to post-op was top notch and I can not imagine a better possible outcome. I had my surgery on May 20th at around 2 pm and was able to enjoy dinner with my wife the very next day for our anniversary. In fact, the morning after surgery I was already seeing 20/16 (I had not even reached 70% healing potential at that time). The only thing better would be to also have the ability to shoot lasers from my eyes or see through walls (they were up front about this being unlikely so this was not a surprise to me). Overall, I am very happy. No pain during this at all; I only experienced some dryness and a bit of a scratchy feeling in my eyes which faded quickly with time.
