My eyebrows were long overdue for a touch up. I haven't waxed them in years as I have been having them threaded in New York for a long time now. I quickly realized threading services certainly aren't as common in NH/ME so I started looking for viable waxing services and that's what led me to Aviva. Alisha was so warm and accommodating immediately, and the space is beautiful, clean and calming. Alisha and I chatted throughout my waxing and she's incredibly friendly, interesting and kind while not getting distracted from giving me truly impeccable eyebrows. She was gentle and meticulous and made sure I knew what she was doing and was ok with the direction she was taking with shaping my brows the entire time, which I really appreciated. I have naturally very thick dark eyebrows and they really do make such a difference on my face depending on the shape so I'm particular. Everything was perfect, virtually pain free. I will definitely come back here anytime I'm in the area and will absolutely be recommending to all of my friends nearby. Alisha made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time, she's wonderful.

After moving from the city last year I struggled finding a local place that would do a decent job and have decent customer service as well....I've been to places around here that act like they are doing you the biggest favor just to "see you". After dealing with acrylic nails for years I finally decided to have them taken off and try and have my own nails look somewhat decent. I needed a miracle ...I discovered they do the new shellac nails so I am not going in every other day for a polish change due to chips. The location is great, the salon has a great vibe and everyone's just so darn sweet and my nails look fantastic. Haven't tried them for hair yet but will be sure to use them for that as well....

Its with sadness and disappointment that I write this I have gone here for a while and always…read moreenjoyed their service but yesterday I was charged 75.00 for a blow out and curls never in my life have I paid that for a blow out and curls I get my hair done twice a week. I spoke with the owner and she said that was the price. It took an hour and 1/2 for a blowout and curls when normally something like this is 45 minutes. I don not have textured or difficult hair its shoulder length. I feel like someone robbed me or took advantage I wont be going back. I called salons in the area and none of them were 75.00 for a blowout and that was without tip.

She used an antiseptic first, then some powder and then wax. And then repeated the same in reverse order after she finished waxing me. Very quick and not too painful. It's a small little place but has the usual salon services at the usual prices. In case you find it difficult finding the salon, it's on the 2nd floor of a building that has a better store on the first floor. There is paid metered parking outside the salon. If you don't find enough information online you can leave her a voicemail. She responds pretty quickly. Do try this place out. She's really sweet :)

Jamie knows what she's doing, very well obviously, so right away that makes you relax. Then she just has a very calm and easy going demeanor, and easy to talk to. She was quick and efficient and I was finished and on my way before I knew it and extremely happy with my results. She's also very reasonable in her prices unlike sometimes overpriced spas for the same results and experience. Definitely try Jamie.
