I normally go to Eyebrow Designer every other month to get my eyebrows cleaned up, I've been going to this establishment for about 4 years now. Typically, I like for the short lady (I know this is a broad statement but once you see who works at the shop, you will know who I'm talking about) to service me. She is gentle and friendly. Unlike the taller lady who works there, she's rough and doesn't have the best attitude at times. Great customer service is key. All in all, the process is about 5-10 minutes max. I try my best to go when it isn't rush hour, since there are only two people who work there, you might have a wait if you go during rush hour. I got my eyebrows done on saturday today is monday. not only do they not look done but i have SCABS ON MY FACE due to how harsh my eyebrows were done. I've had my eyebrows threaded multiple times but never here and never had these issues DO NOT GO HERE. Also customer service was poor she did not speak the entire time and rushed on me. read more

I came here to get my eyebrows stringed. I get my eyebrows waxed as well, but I believe getting them stringed last longer. As soon as I walked in I was helped immediately. I didn't get the lady name who helped me, but she was very nice. I not going lie by saying it didn't hurt. LOL it hurts, but it's definitely worth it in the end. Love this place except one of the ladies is always on her cellphone. But she is damn good. So I can't complain if I come out looking great. Bushra is really sweet. One is just is on the phone both are great. I was away from home for the week and couldn't go to my usual threading spot. My eyebrows were out of control so I had no choice but to try this place out. This location has it's own little store and is tucked away in a quiet part of the mall, next to a department store which is great if you are like me and hate being out in the open for people to just stand and stare. The person I got wasn't friendly and really wanted to get me in and out. I don't think she realized the condition of my eyebrows and seemed annoyed that I was taking longer than she hoped for. She was super aggressive. It felt like she was beating my face. I was red and breaking out for the entire day. I have been getting threaded for years and never once was my reaction as bad. She also made my eyebrows too thin, even though I asked her not to. The shape was great, but they were just way too thin. My face hurt for days. I went to this location 1/11/17 to have my eyebrows threaded. I asked her to keep my eyebrows rather thick, just clean them up. They looked ok enough, I paid and left. Later, I washed my face with mild soap and my eyebrows burned, I knew skin had been removed. The following day, I happened to be in the mall and asked for a refund. The same lady that did my eyebrows (and her picture is in the photos above) claimed my skin was removed because the hair was long...what? I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 12 years, by different places (seldom here because it is hit or miss) and I've never had skin removed. She was clearly irritated that I wanted the money back and I assured her I wouldn't be back to allow her to rip my skin off again. When I walked in there were no clients seated in their 3 seats. I could see one employee sitting in the doorway of the office space eating & having a conversation with someone else in the office. The woman in the door said hello, I said hello back and then she starred at me, so I spoke up & told her I wanted my upper lip and chin threaded. She said okay, it will be about 10 to 20 minutes. I stood there and waited, puzzled because no one else was inside the establishment waiting or standing outside of it waiting. A second customer walked in and I was about to tell her about the wait time because she was giving me the "what's going on look" when a woman walked in behind her and that woman told me to sit in the first seat after a visual exchange between her and the woman sitting in the office door. She was quiet and not personable at all, but I am pleased by her service though!! If I'm ever in a bind and don't want to drive to VA where I normally get my threading services done, I will remember that they are here. BUT ...... When I was at the counter to pay for my service, I witnessed a roach crawl into the fax machine. I saw sitting on top of the fax machine a Starbucks cup and not knowing whether it was fresh or from this morning, I let her know that I could see a roach crawling around in there .... These are the only people I trust with my brows after a horrible waxing incident. They are very quick, yes, but my eyebrows always look wonderful. My only qualms are, like the others said, customer service and as of last night, pain. The older lady usually does mine and is very gentle (it hurts less than plucking), but the younger lady last night was tearing them up. They looked great, mind you, but I've had tattoos that have hurt less. Also, as soon as she was done, she was back on her phone playing Hay Day, even when she ran my card and handed me my receipt. I walked into this location and all I received was a blank and dismissive stare. I wasn't greeted or even asked to have a seat. I took a seat and figured I would give them another chance to acknowledge me, since they were working on other customers. But.....still nothing. The woman, who I assume is the owner, looked at me with an attitude as I waited. So, I got up and decided she would not get my money! Not only were they rude to me when I asked questions since this was my first experience with threading, they took off over half of my daughter's beautiful thick eyebrows. I was flabbergasted and once the corporate store opens in Illinois, I will be contacting them.If I could rate them a negative star I would. I simply tolerate this place because it is convenient and they do a decent job. However as previously mentioned, they are kinda rude. I have rushed on two occassions to get service and have been turned down (once with my kid). Both times I arrived within 15- 20 minutes before closing. That's so odd when it only takes 10 minutes and I didnt see a sign on when the last customer is serviced. So if you know you will be cutting it close to COB, don't waste your time. They won't do you any favors. Oh and they are usually on/checking their cell phone during service. If you can deal, go for it. They do a decent job on the lower level across from H&M. read more

I must have got the wrong lady. I asked for a clean up and she took off most of my brow. One is way thinner than the other. I only like to get threaded and I just moved here so this was the first place I tried. If I could mark 0 stars I would. I will never go here again. I went a few months ago and the lady who did them did a decent job but cut under my eyebrow really bad. I decided to give them another shot. The mall was almost closed, I went up and asked if she had time before closing and she said yes. I told her I wanted to keep the thickness since I had been growing them out for a while. I stressed this multiple times. My eyebrows are now extremely skinny. She took off so much. After I stressed I didn't want it off. She asked if I liked them I told her no. I said I asked for you to not take much off and to leave them thick. Her response to me was well you came last minute so what do you expect. I told her I expect you to tell me you can't help me because you don't have enough time rather then rush and do my eyebrows wrong. I can not get over how badly she didn't them and how much she actually took off. She runs my card twice. I asked if you charged me twice and she said no. So I checked my account right in front of her, she charged it twice. I told her she told me no it was canceled. I showed her and then she said I'll get it back in a few days and to relax. So not only did she mess up my eyebrows but then knowingly charged me twice and lied to me. I asked for her name and she wouldn't give it to me. Do not go here! Your eyebrows will be messed up! Upon walking in, I found out from that the entire staff was on break. Keep in mind this is a Saturday afternoon at the mall and there was no signage mentioning the staff break. Other customers (who arrived before me) mentioned they were waiting for at least 15 minutes before I arrived. After standing around for 15 minutes, I left. If you need to take a break close the store down or make a sign indicating what is going on. Don't have customers wait and be confused! Bad service! read more

They are rude. Don't waste your money here. Unfortunately there aren't many places that use the string method on eyebrows. They have horrible customer service and manners. They act like they want you in and out quickly as possible. Also, the last time I went we waited 15 minutes at the kiosk for someone to show up. When they did show up.. she rudely said they were closed. Really? I wasted 15 minutes of my life for you to shoo me away like I'm nothing? There was plenty of time to squeeze me in.. plus if she had been at the kiosk when we walked up then there would have been plenty of time for service! I will take my service elsewhere. read more
