Went here once and won't be returning. As a first-time customer, I felt like an inconvenience from the moment I walked in. I sat on the waiting couch while the employee remained on her phone and didn't greet or acknowledge me. After a few minutes of silence, she simply said, "If you want your eyebrows done, sit in that chair." As a new customer, I had no way of knowing that was the process. In my experience, most brow studios at least greet you and let you know when they're ready. The interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. I remained polite throughout the appointment and thanked her afterward, but she didn't respond or acknowledge me. Unfortunately, the eyebrow service itself also felt rushed, and I wasn't happy with the results. But she literally only spent like one minute on each one of my eyebrows to thread them and then I paid for Henna which was very very sloppily put on my eyebrows, not painted on to follow the eye eyebrow hair!! I went to have my eyebrows tinted today. Not only was the clinician not particularly friendly but she did a really bad job on my eyebrows. I feel like she gave me a huge attitude. Once I told her I did not want them threaded. (my eyebrows are very thin.) and I just wanted them colored. I have never had a more messy application. My eyebrows look terrible. And she did a terrible job of cleaning off the excess henna when she was done. She told me I can clean it off at home. I've had my eyebrows done for years. Most reputable places will tell you not to wash your eyebrows for 24 hours so that the product will last longer. Complete waste of money I normally tip 20 to 25%. I usually am the girl that goes to the same place all the time . I usually go to Sacramento Arden mall 2 years now , which the service is amazing and they know what their doing . I came to eyebrow art since I didn't want to drive to Sacramento and it was by far the worse decision of my life. I told the lady I wanted a simple clean up to make them more square since it has been awhile since I was at my normal place . Last I had a quick wax and they removed very little hair which was not a problem since I take it they were playing it safe . This lady said okay I will take care of you , she said "No more wax ,they made it round ". Which I didn't know what she was referring to since my brows were just fine in my eyes . As I'm sitting in the chair , I notice that the lady threading my eyebrows is not only causing extreme pain but is taking a little to long . I stand up because she said she was all done . I look at my eyebrows and I hysterically break out in tears . She took both of my eyebrows pretty much completely off !!!!!!!!!! As I'm living a nightmare since I work at Kaiser with my patients I see all day long , I can't stop crying how I have nothing to fix . No room for error or corrections. All she can say was "WELL I WONT CHARGE YOU ". Then tried to say she told me she was gonna take my whole darn eyebrows off. Are you kidding me . Money is not a problem. The problem is your customer service. They should not have unexperienced staff removing someone's eyebrows and then not knowing how to have any empathy and knowing she was in her wrong. She tried to fill them in with eye shadow,which she got it all over my forehead and the middle of my eyebrows. Luckily another came over to wipe all the eyeshadow off my face . My wife and I both love this eyebrow threading place. Now, our teenage daughter is also coming with us and she does love it too. We always go to Kamal because she does a great job and listens to what my wife's preferences with what she wants done. We've been an avid customer here for years now, can't remember how long, the time when it was still new. I remember, our favorite threader is Hetel but when she left, it was so hard to find a replacement especially when you're used to a person with delicate touch doing your eyebrow. We tried everyone in between, actually we've tried other eyebrow establishments too but nobody compares to Hetel until we came back here and met Kamal, and upto this time, it's our eyebrow place. As for the breviews here, with due respect, it's just sad that maybe they encountered the not so good threaders. If I gave this place a bad review when I was really hurt because the others that made my eyebrow is not that good compared to our favorite, it's just unfair to the other person that does a good job that's why I never really gave them reviews until now that I am certain that there's one special person in this place that as good as our favorite which our new favorite threader now, Kamal is her name. She's good at what she does and really nice of a person. She is highly recommended, you've got to try to know what I'm talking about. read more

$10 eyebrow threading is a good deal. I came here once before and didn't have such a pleasant experience. The threading hurt and I broke out a lot afterwards. I tried them a second time because I didn't get the chance to go to my normal spot earlier in the week. I was thankful that I did because I had a great experience and an awesomely finished pair of eyebrows! The ladies that work there are nice and happened to be super slammed that day--I guess ladies wanted clean eyebrows for New Years Eve!, lol. I waited for about 20 minutes but went to Charming Charlie to kill time. When I returned, I waited for another 5 minutes and it was my turn. My threading took about 8 minutes and I was out of there. I moved to the area this year and have been coming to Eyebrow art ever since and working with Ms. Parm. She always waits for me and accommodates even when I arrive close to their closing time since I usually call ahead. She has been taking care of me and been so polite but this past week I had a bad experience with some new girl that I want the manager or owner to know about. I always call ahead and go when I can because I work late and my schedule is packed. Last week, I went on Monday (Sept 2, 2019) hoping to see my usual person, but I arrived to see some new girl sitting inside on her phone. I headed towards the door and the girl said she cannot take me anymore and is done for the day. I looked at my clock and it was about 7:43 pm. I have come later than that and have been helped so did not like the way this girl behaved with attitude. I am writing this review to let the owner or manager that some of her people do not understand work ethics and should know that they are there to help the customers during all business hours. From now on, I will make sure my usual person is there or call to ask about her scheduled days so I do not have to deal with that girl again. P.S. I have been taking my daughter here for well over a year to tame her 'caterpillars' We have never had a bad experience here. Yes, it does have its times where it hurts, but lets be honest - you're ripping hair out, its not supposed to feel good. I do think some threaders dont hurt as bad as others - I havent figured out why yet. We did have henna done one time prior to today - the lady who was working advised us she wasnt that good but we went ahead and had it done anyways (she was right - it wasnt that good - but I cant blame her, she DID warn us). My daughter is very satisfied with the lady who was working today who applied her henna. So I guess I would recommend asking the person if they know how to do the henna prior to? read more

(Sorry it's a long review) I've always gotten my eyebrows threaded rather than waxed because that's what I liked. Prior to going to Vacaville, I would drive to Fairfield to get mine done at the mall; and as soon as a store opened at Nut Tree I was beyond happy to save gas and time. If you would have asked me last week about this place, I would give a five star review; however, after today I can't help but doubt this store altogether. To the best of my knowledge there's two girls who works here, and they each work a day (so one person in the store, and they rotate days/shifts) I don't know either girls' names, but I'll describe their looks. One girl has quite a bit of acne on her face, but she is by far the best girl at this store. The other is short (about 5'3") and is small but chubby around her face and tummy, and she was the one who did my mother's brows today. She's SUPER rude, and her attitude as left a bad taste in my mouth, I may never go here because of her. The store closes at 6 on Sundays, we walked in at about 5:50 to an empty store. So we sat on the couch and waited. After five or so minutes we heard a flush, so we assumed that she was in the bathroom, sure enough she walked out and asked if we wanted our eyebrows done, I said my mom did. She told her to sit and began to work, which was fine, but then she commented "I'm closed right now." I wasn't sure she was talking to me, so I didn't say anything, she then made eye contact and said it again...I replied "Sorry... but the door was open." She said "can't you read? the sign says that we're closed at 6." I couldn't believe what she said! She was so rude. So I said "Actually the open sign is blinking, we came in before six, and if you were closed you should have locked the door." She said that the door wasn't unlocked, and the sign wasn't flashing...so basically she said I broke into the store, and as we were leaving she shut off the lights, and then she also shut off the sign and looked at me to see if I would call her our for it-- by then I was in the car and done with her overall. Not only was she rude, but she handled her service badly. My mother has a bit of a blood spot on her eye and she didn't even do a good job (like she was taking her anger out on my mom's brows, I.E. using too much force/trying to make it hurt), we just wanted to leave quickly so we paid and left--but I wish I said more to her. She was awful. I would rather drive to Fairfield than see her ever again. read more

So while driving down 80, I was mesmerized by the huge sign advertising Brow Art. My 'brows were looking somewhat reminiscent of caterpillars on my face, so I took it as divine intervention and made an appointment for later that afternoon. When I arrived, the place was completely empty, except for one employee. She had me recline in a barber-style chair and whipped out the thread. I told her I didn't want them too thin. I guess she took that to mean that I didn't want much done. She cleaned up the stray hairs, but didn't give me any real shape or definition. The ends of my brows were still pretty thick, not the tapered ends that I normally look forward to. I was afraid to ask for more, in fear that too much may be removed, since not enough was removed at first. I've been threaded before and found them to be much more precise than what I got. I was hoping to find a nice place to get threaded, but unfortunately this wasn't it. They also have jewelry for sale and that might be worth coming back to check out. read more

This is not my favorite place to get eyebrows threaded. I feel like they do a very quick job, and do not pay much attention to detail. I know I have a lot more little hairs because when I go to other places, they thread more, tweeze, and so on. I was on a time crunch like I needed it done by tomorrow, so I stopped by at 7:51. I love my eyebrows more than I ever have.... Ask for Heather!! I visited this location feeling very skeptical and apprehensive.. I've always waxed my own brows for years, but I decided to give it a try after a good friend of mine highly recommended it. We're both VERY picky being that were both cosmetologists. (Meaning we know amazing brows when we see them) I can honestly say that if you can handle a brow wax (or even a Brazilian wax) you can DEFINITELY handle what threading feels like. I went to see heather, who was very sweet and all I did was tell her I wanted them even but NOT THIN. She did exactly that. My eyebrows are immaculate and cleaner than ever. Fitst visit, Will not be back-ever. I went in for my eyebrows and specifically said "I DO NOT WANT THEM THINNED OUT" like I always do. Complete fail, I hardly have any eyebrow left. They are completely hacked and practically bald. CANNOT BELIEVE IT. It will take me two months to have my natural eyebrows back. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed and threaded for years now at lavender spa. However I was pressed for time and ran to the first place I saw. Eyebrow art. I have never been so disappointed with my service. I walked in and she immediately said "eyebrows" no greeting or asking what service I would like, just "eyebrows". I sit in the chair and she starts hacking away. I looked in the mirror and saw they were very uneven. Once I asked her to please make my eyebrows even she became irritated and gave me a excuse about my hair growing fast...... What that has to do with my eyebrows being sisters I'll never know. What make matters worse was once she was done its still uneven and there hair that she didn't get! I went home and plucked the strands. This eyebrow art is anything but art! The customer service is nonexistent and the work is rushed (even though I was the only in the store) and not done properly. I am the most obsessive, picky person I know and I always leave more than happy! My only recommendation is to be specific on what you want.
