I needed an eye exam for my driver's license renewal. I walked into Ardsley Eye Care and was met with smiling faces and a very kind staff. They were able to fit me in for an exam and I met Dr. Wolfe. Wow! The nicest man possible. He gave me a thorough exam and filled out the necessary DMV form - which was then sent electronically to them. (All that was left for me to do was renew/pay for my actual license from my computer at home. The eye exam portion was already being sent by Ardsley Eye Care for me.) The BEST part of the day was when I got home and told my wife about the pleasant and capable care I received with Dr. Wolfe and his staff. She DOES have all sorts of eye care needs...glasses, contact lenses, and regular visits to monitor for her cataracts and potential glaucoma. She has been looking for a new practice for her exams since the existing one has a couple of doctors who are ready to retire. She will be calling Dr. Wolfe's office shortly it make an appointment. He's also changed his mind about some issues based on the latest research, which frankly is uncommon with medical professionals. I never felt any pressure or upselling. He does have the latest machines, but I see them as being to my benefit, for example he has a machine where he can detect macular degeneration and get color images of it. My only complaint is that he's older than I am, so at some point he'll retire and I'll have to find a new eye doctor. Went through that with dentists a couple of times already...

This abysmal treatment has cost the company two customers. After posting this negative review, I received two phone calls from the optician explaining his paranoia with Covid-19 despite precautions taken in the store. We agreed to meet yesterday at 9:00 a.m. for me to pick up my replacement frame with my lenses. When I tried to pay him for the frame, he told me it was complimentary! What a pleasant surprise.

First of all when you come to the building you have to go up the stair case and you will see a bunch of doors. Dr. Gerlan office is on the left Side suite 4. He has a seating area for the patiences. Dr. Gerlan will ask for your insurance card and glasses if you wear any. Then he will bring you into his office and do the eye exam. And after he will prescribe you new glasses and show you which are covered by your insurance. Dr. Gerlan was very professional and polite. Highly recommend coming here. Only downside is the parking situation but there is a parking lot around the corner so it's not so bad.

The only problem--their office is only reachable by steep stairs in a building without an elevator. I am getting older and foresee the day I will not be able to manage this. Also, they are not open Wednesdays or Sundays, but this has not been a problem for me. For those who can handle the stairs and the hours, I highly recommend them.
