Found this gem on YELP! Went in for a comprehensive visit yesterday for my little one who was having trouble seeing the board at school. The Doctor was so sweet, patient and thoroughly examined my little one's eyes. I was impressed with her skills and attention to detail. The office was super clean and modern. Parking was easy and free which is always nice. My daughter left picking up the cutest little Ray bands for her first pair of prescription glasses. Will be ready for pick up in about 10 days, so my girlie will have new clearer vision soon. Staff was also super helpful and courteous during our appointment. This establishment is located across the street from Costco. They are two doors from the Grocery Outlet. There are plenty of parking spots. My wife and my son came here for their appointments. Dr. Leung was very kind and gave my wife tips on how to take care of her eyes. The receptionist, Ruth was very patient and nice. She explained the insurance deductibles for different selections of the frames and types of lenses that they offered. We were told that the glasses will be ready in about two to three weeks. However, to our surprise that the glasses were ready in one week. We had a pleasant experience with Dr. Leung and Ruth. We really liked how Ruth was upfront with all the deductibles and prices. My wife and son will be coming here for their glasses from now on. read more

My husband and I LOVE Dr. Leung and Ruth at Eye Optique! Dr. Leung is wonderful and so caring and kind. Ruth knows everything about glasses, insurance, prescriptions --you name it. I can't imagine an Eye Optique without Ruth,deftly managing the store. The glasses selection for women's glasses is incredible. It's very challenging trying to choose between all the great Kate Spade and Coach frames. I've never seen such a good selection. Each frame seems to have been thoughtfully chosen. Getting glasses for the first time late in life is a hard adjustment, and everyone at Eye Optique was so kind, helpful, and thoughtful! Dr. Leung saw me a few extra times (for free!) to get the first prescription just right and explain to me how to adjust, she always explained everything and took so much time with me to patiently answer all my questions. I found this store from the VSP vision care. If you have VSP vision care insurance, you should be able to get $150-$170 deduction from the glassware frame plus 20% off (depending on the glasses brands) . I ended up only paying $8 for my frame and get $384 off for my glasses lenses. You will need to call to make a reservation before you visit. I don't think the store takes any walk-in's. It was very easy to make an appointment. My phone call was answered within three rings. When I arrived, I called the phone numbers again in order to get in. I was surprise that I was the only customer inside the store. One hour later after I finished the eye exam and was picking up the eyeglasses, then I saw another guest in the store. It was probably because I took a very long time to pick up my glasses. Otherwise I might be the only guest in the store. There were never more than two guests inside the store. The optometrist was very nice and helpful. She cleaned all eye exam machine before using it, so I felt very safe & comfortable. I also brought my old glasses, it helped the optometrist to compare my old vision degree vs the new one. The receptionist was very nice as well. She helped me pick up a new pair glasses and helped adjust my old glasses. She also wore plastic mask during the whole process and stayed 6 feet apart. The only downside was the glasses selections were pretty standard and not the most trendy types. There were not too many choices IMO. Overall it's is a very safe & clean store if you must get an eye / contact lenses exams done now during this pandemic time. read more

2/3/2021 Quarantine Day 324 I haven't had an eye exam since 2019 so I was really happy and lucky that Eye Optique Optometry answered my call and scheduled my appointment within a week. I had searched around for other offices but I never got a call back. Eye Optique Optometry is across from the Costco on El Camino. They are conveniently located in a plaza so parking was not an issue. My first impression of the place is that it is very professional and clean. The windows letting the natural light in is very welcoming. The amount of space they have is amazing too! My childhood optometry offices were very, very tiny in comparison. The atmosphere in the office is overall pleasant. The receptionist and Dr. Thach were very friendly and professional. I was seen within 5 minutes after I had filled out the new patient forms. Dr. Thach has a very genteel demeanor and was very patient with me. I highly recommend coming here if you want a 5-star optometry appointment experience! This was my first time scheduling an eye exam in years! I wanted to have my eyes checked because lately I've noticed that my vision has deteriorated. Eye Optique was the first result to pop up on my Yelp search within my area, so I emailed with inquiries and received a response from Ruth back within the hour. I was set up with an eye exam without vision insurance promptly for the following day! I was seen immediately upon arrival by Dr. Thach, who did a wonderful job! He was very helpful and enthusiastic, and he helped keep me calm throughout all of the procedures. I had the typical vision test and a dilation exam, and I felt comfortable all throughout! Turns out I do need glasses -- but I'm happy I went to an optometrist who made me feel good about it! Checkout was fast and easy, and I received my prescription right away. I was told to come back any time if I wanted to set up an appointment to help choose the frames for me. I look forward to coming back for my routine exam! Dr. Tiffany Leung is very good and I have had no issues with her prescriptions for both everyday wear, computer use, and contacts. Booking with them has been very easy and insurance is always sorted out by them without any need for my input. Their glasses selection is not the best for my tastes, but they carry a decent range of frames. Contacts arrive at the expected speed and they are very good at following up. I found this place on Yelp after I had (regrettably) gone to another optometrist in my neighborhood. The contrast in how I've been treated from my first optometrist and Dr. Leung is like night and day. Dr. Leung actually listened to me and what I was experiencing. I had doubts about my current prescription from my prior optometrist. Dr. Leung not only corrected my vision, but she confirmed that my current glasses didn't have the anti-glare coating that I paid for. I appreciate and value honesty shown by Dr. Leung. Another reason why I like Eye Optique is because the staff was actually nice to me. I'm not sure if the staff I dealt with at my prior optometrist were just old and grumpy, but Eye Optique certainly practices the type of customer service I enjoy by not being condescending, and by helping me choose a frame style. Lastly, I referred my sister here because I wanted to make sure that she chose someone who's good at their job and cares about their business. When my sister came here, she informed me that one of the associates was her optometrist at Target Serramonte. She was really happy with him and my sister now trusts Dr. Leung too. The receptionist had a very nice friendly tone and was able to let me know I was in Network which was important to me. I came in and the office was beautiful just like the website. It was big, bright and clean. I looked at their inventory and it was all up to date eyeglasses, trendy. We were looking for a new eye doctor closer to home. Optique Optometry was just down the street from my house. And my wife works at the dental office next door. It's important to us that they accepted VSP. So yesterday the whole family came for our annual eye exam. Dr. Thach greeted us and offered us some coffee and tea. Dr. T took his time to examine our precious eyes. He's really a professional. Dr. T found something not normal with my youngest sons eyes. One of his retina was thinning. Thank god for Dr. Thach he caught it before it gets worse. My son is going to see a specialist for his retina. Dr. T helped me looked for some Ray Bans frame. Overdue to review this place! It was a little over ten years since I've had my eyes checked, and it was definitely time for this granny to get her specks upgraded. Dr. Tach was so friendly and made me comfortable asking questions and also listening to my concerns without making me feel like I'm completely blind. I got myself a fancy pair of Burberry glasses, and he gave me a sample of drops to use on my dry eyes. He was also lovely enough to go over the paper work with me and even helped fill out the reimbursement forms that I should send to EyeMed. This is my go-to for all my eye exams now! read more

This was actually my first time here and it did not disappoint. Called in wednesday for an appointment and got a schedule on friday hassle free. I was worried at first, hmmm " a place with 5 stars....do they really have great customer service or did they tell their friends and family to give them good reviews " I decided to give this place a shot, and I am so happy that I did! I was way earlier than my appointment time, they could take me right at that moment but they did manage for me to get the paper work part done as well as picking out my frames so when I come back for my eye exam, it won't take long. High tech equipments, GREAT customer service, happy staffs, professional, welcoming and they make you feel like home. The ONLY thing I wish was a bit different is for them to have more variety of frames... but over all 5 stars for my visit. OH... what's cool is if they need to call you back for whatever info they need to let you know while you are at work, they CAN TEXT YOU!!!! That was the biggest plus for me! I had Dr. Leung for both glasses and contact lenses exam. She was super sweet and very thorough with the exam. I had to come back for a follow up with the contact lenses, and they let me squeeze in their busy schedule, especially during end of year when people are trying to use up their insurance. The best part about this place is that they aren't pushy with products and is super clean inside.
