To keep it short and simple. What the hires tutors did for my daughter was great and for that alone…read moreis the only reason they got any stars if I were grading the tutors I'd give 5/5 BUT the owner and educational director were a total joke. I say that now because they closed for the pandemic and never reopened and STOLE my hard earned money. Now I can't get anyone from corporate to even contact me back. If I find the owners address you bet your behind I'll be paying her a visit taking nearly $8000 and running off with half of it that was never earned. If corporate keeps ignoring me I'll review every single Huntington in the US so everyone knows how they are okay with fully scamming you out of your own money.

We purchased a block of hours from Huntington Exton office several years back when our son needed…read moresome extra help in math. We purchased a big block (spent about $8,000) since it was less expensive per hour and he was only in 5th grade at the time, so figured we would use it down the road, or if nothing else, for his SAT prep. When we purchased the sessions and he started going, our experience was mostly good. Almost all of the teachers were great and he enjoyed them and definitely benefitted from their extra instruction. Our son did comment that it did take a decent amount of time for them just to get set up and figure out what he needed work on, which is understandable.... but means you probably should schedule for a minimum of 2-3 hours instead of just one for each session length. He is now in 10th grade and has not really needed any extra help or instruction for the past few years. Last year, we received a call to see if he needed anything, and was informed that the program had changed, and that we would not have as many hours remaining as we should have. After insisting that we were still under the old program, I finally got reassurance and an email confirming that. This year, our son has not needed instruction, but I figured he could use a little extra boost at exam time, so I called at 3:30 pm one day and left a voice mail asking for a call back to schedule something. (Outgoing msg says they close at 3 but calls would be returned next business day.) I have called several times since, always getting voicemail, no matter what time of day, and no one ever returns my calls. Not sure what is going on, but this is very frustrating!

Two of my children did SAT/ACT test prep with Brandywine Learning Center and the experience was…read morejust what I'd hoped for. They were matched with people they could relate to, the test prep itself was focused on what they needed and allowed them to bring up their test scores by identifying strategies and areas of weakness to focus on, and best of all they enjoyed the process! The Learning Center was easy to work with , flexible and accommodated our scheduling needs. Not only was it effective, but we really liked the experience - great people!

We've now been going to BLC weekly for over a year. My child loves coming to her tutor…read more Incredible win! Gina the owner and Maria the manager are accommodating and dedicated to their craft. They have significantly improved the way my 11 year old views school, learning, homework, organization and life skills all which help aid her development and support her academic growth. They go above and beyond just your basic tutor. They do a book bag dump to help keep her on point. She earns points to redeem for treats. It's not at all one size fits all tutoring. Gina's intake covers everything to allow her to get to know the child, family and dynamics of the situation. She wants to know about teachers and has worked as a liaison to help with communication with teachers. I could keep writing because my admiration and appreciation for the work they do and progress they have made with my daughter is priceless. She wants to come to her tutoring session. She looks forward to them. It's such a win. We have previously used tutors and none come close to caring like they do at Brandywine Learning Center.
