This was my first visit as a patient, and even though it was a very busy late afternoon, the experience was excellent. I believe they have three providers. I was warmly greeted by Karen, who was extremely calming, efficient, and welcoming. She answered all of my questions and truly made me feel comfortable. She's an outstanding representative for the clinic. I then met Dr. Huntting, who was also very kind and thorough. Even though he was clearly busy, he never made me feel rushed and took the time to address all of my concerns. I highly recommend Eye Care Professionals if you're ever in need of an ophthalmologist. read more

All the way around, I always receive the best of care from everyone working there. This business is the best of the best for all the services they provide. The care I received for a complete eye exam was very gentle, thorough and outstanding. read more

I have been coming to Eye Care Professionals for three years (since moving to Reno). My primary care physician highly recommended Dr. Matthew Mills. He is a Board-certified Opthamologist. A sign at the front desk states the initial your appointment can take anywhere from 2-3 hours. It is a very thorough examination! If you are low risk and just need an eye glasses, perhaps you will be happier going to an optometrist, but if you may be needing or wanting eye surgery, this is the place to come. read more

Never actually needed to go in, problem went away first, but they were fantastic at squeezing us in first thing in the morning. Knew all the details about insurance and procedure and were friendly as well. Will definitely use them if need any eye care in the future. read more

They cram patients in like cattle. Expect a long wait before your appointment. Hi tech equipment. Staff is friendly.moo

Excellent professional practice! I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my bilateral cataract surgery or my patient experience with Dr. Mills, Dr. Mirbaha, and the courteous, kind staff. Dr. Mills and Dr. Mirbaha, though busy, spent time addressing questions and providing information, are clearly very competent and knowledgeable, AND just really likable people. This is a busy practice (because they are so good) and the wait can be lengthy so bring a book / electronics / thermos of coffee and simply be prepared. I am very glad to have found Eye Care Professionals and highly recommend them. Thank you to Parneet for her personal attention. read more

Today is officially one of the best days of my entire life. Thank you Dr. Mills for giving me the gift of 20/15 vision!! I appreciate your thoroughness in testing and pre and post op care. I went to a few other consultations and Dr. Mills was the most caring, invested doctor I met with. It doesn't feel real, but I can see perfectly. I've spent over 20 years with over -5. Can't wait for this new life. If you're on the fence about LASIK, do it!! It's amazing, and they will take care of you. read more

My visit with these eye surgeons was beyond reproach! Not only were the doctors caring but the staff was very friendly and supportive. Highly recommend their services! Dr Mills is friendly and listens to both your concerns and questions. read more

Consistently late and disrespectful of patients' time, regardless of what time the appointment is scheduled (i.e., getting the first appointment of the day does *not* guarantee being seen on time). Front office staff is cold and robotic. Care received: Dr. Mirbaha is great, attentive and detail-oriented in her practice, and is the only reason I tolerate the rest of the experience. read more

Dr Mills and their team are absolutely wonderful and so professional. My husband had a horrible botched eye surgery from another doctor and Dr Mills has been working with him closely over a year now helping him recover and stop further vision loss. They really care! read more

Still waiting for my appointment an hour and 15 minutes after it was scheduled (8:30am). I showed up on time. Please consider any other option if you any value whatsoever of your time. They clearly do not. read more

Dr. Matthew Mills at Eye Care Professionals performed cataract surgery on my left eye yesterday. The procedure went very well. Dr. Mills is a wonderful doctor. The Visionary Surgery Center was very professional and the staff was very pleasant. I saw Dr. Mirbaha for my post op this morning. She was awesome and answered all my questions. My eye is healing very well and I now have 20/20 vision in my left eye. My right eye will be done next week. It is so exciting to see clearly again. Waited hours on every visit. Always backed up, very frustrating especially when it's a post checkup after cataract surgery.

Dr. Mills' office staff are efficient, professional and courteous, and Dr. Mills himself employs a high level of skill and empathy in care of his patients. read more

It is time for me to arrange corrective maintenance of my tired old eyes so I went to Eye Care Professionals help. True to their name, the technicians were very polite and efficient. I was referred to Dr. Mills by a local optometrist. Dr. Mills was also recommended highly by former patients. Dr. Mills suggested a procedure that would help my vision and explained the benefits and expected success of his work. His staff efficiently set up appointments, arranged for medicine and gave directions for its use. Unfortunately, my insurance may not pay for everything and Eye Care Professionals was not able to state the exact cost for the procedure but they did provide a number to call for an estimate. Dr. Mills promised to reduce the requirement for social security numbers on his future computerized admittance system. In my opinion SSN's should be entirely eliminated on medical forms. DOB and insurance numbers, verified with picture ID should be sufficient. read more

Dr Mills and Dr Mirbaha are top-notch physicians and eye specialists. I recently underwent cataract surgery by Dr Mills on both eyes, two weeks apart, and the results and follow-up couldn't be better. All employees there are helpful, warm and pleasant. I have seen a lot of people provide these negative reviews about wait times. Honestly they serve a lot of people and it takes what it takes, communication with the staff usually helps to set expectations. Everyone is completely professional and kind these exams do take time and my mom has been thru her first cataract and is going next week for her other eye. I highly recommend this place just from the experience we have had so far. Dr Mills is a professional and has been very informative, they are here to help in anyway through the process. In response to Sarah P.'s reply to my comment, it is important to note that it was NOT the *duration of the appointment itself* that was the problem -- it was *sitting in the waiting room* for nearly a half hour PRIOR to being called back for my appointment. If the office staff isn't prepared to see patients at 7:30am when the appointment is scheduled for, please don't offer those appointment times. read more
