No he doesn't always win but with Greg you'll always fight the good fight. I've been in more litigation than most. I like to win. I have never been disappointed when I've gotten into a gunfight with Greg at my side. I have very specific litigation experiences with Gregory O. Slatoff. My litigation was almost always unpleasant but necessary. Having Greg at my side was always good for me. I've sued more lawyers in California for taking tens of thousands of my dollars as retainers only to do sub par work. That was never a concern or anything remotely like that with Greg. He was always honest. He spoke the law, he spoke the facts. If you ever need to fight, depending on your area of need if it's an area that Greg practices in you can not find a better advocate. Greg will fight to win if you find yourself in a gunfight and he's at your side or leading your team.

Personal Review of JMD Financial Services - Rick Posner July…read more10, 2016 One of the best talents I had in my business career was I had the knack to find the right employees, partners and advisors. Maybe this was something I was born with or maybe my childhood was cultivated so that I would be able to acquire not only appropriate business associates but personal friends as well. This was the process, or possible divine intervention, I put my faith in when I was in need of a go-to person for questions I had about keeping my finances and budget on a smooth pathway. I would guess that a majority of us, especially in this age of rising expenses, have suffered from the relentless background voice, worrying about our financial situation in comparison to our real-life dreams. But we don't need to hire a full-time employee, just a consultant for an hour or maybe someone to educate and run a project for a few months. My first contact with JMD Financial was with one of their principal partners. I told him my problem: That I am now out of business due to an unexpected disability which leaves my body weak and my mind sometimes a muddled labyrinth, rendering me less sharp and effective in the complex business goings, decisions and strategies that business owners need in today's competitive world. As I was facing immediate change in future income I knew that I would have to scale back my then-current lifestyle. Sure, I could cut this and that out of my life, but where did I really stand, how much money really now came in from passive investments and what did I generate in expenses? To my surprise our first meeting was at my home office. When is the last time you had an accountant, lawyer, doctor or other professional come to your house for a meeting? My contact at JMD was Madhur. He was extremely punctual and polite. We both became very comfortable with each other and we dove into work, having explained what my situations was. What I liked about Madhur was if I felt I was having trouble understanding certain processes, he immediately caught on and would bring the bookkeeping vocabulary or systems down a notch, thereby helping me understand as we went along. When we finished, I really didn't have any questions except when he could come back so I could learn some more. Without a doubt, I would refer anyone looking for a bit of help in their accounting to give JMD a call. It's refreshing to know that there are still real and caring people in the world of business today. JMD listened to our needs then did something extraordinary, they suggested a one hour coaching session to help orient me to Quickbooks so I could manage my own bookkeeping. This would have been easy money for them but they did the right thing, and instead of giving me a fish, they taught me HOW to fish. My one hour training session was with one of the partners, Madhur, who did a great job explaining the features of Quickbooks Online that I would need to use. Time-wise and money-wise that hour was well spent. He walked me thru Quickbooks, answered my questions, helped me add specialized categories and vendors, and showed me how to run reports. He then suggested that I use it for a month then check back in with any questions I had. For some of the more complex entries (like entering information from a closing statement) we hired them to do the work to make sure it was done correctly. I'm a financial advisor and am asked with some frequency for referrals. I take these referrals seriously as I feel they are a reflection on my professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend JMD Financial Partners. My clients and friends would be in excellent hands.

First impressions go a long way and so are the associated business relationships that grow as a result of them. Here we are in August, 6 months later, and we still do not have a functioning system. The work was riddled with problems from the start. He built out custom fields that Clio's own migration tool automatically populates, meaning a significant portion of the work was completely unnecessary. Beyond that, the errors were careless and basic. Spelling mistakes, repeated redundancies, and a clear lack of understanding of how a law firm actually operates. We met with him and his team multiple times, at times on a weekly basis, going over the same issues repeatedly, yet the same mistakes kept showing up. What made it worse was that every time I asked him to fix a problem, he would create a new set of issues. It became an endless cycle with no progress. I provided multiple videos documenting the problems and gave him every opportunity to make it right. Nothing was resolved. I held off posting this review to give Paolo a chance to respond and make things right. He never did. Complete radio silence. No response, no accountability, nothing. He simply stopped responding to my emails and stopped working on the project. The disruption to my firm was real. My staff worked around a broken system for months, directly impacting our ability to serve clients. If you are a law firm considering hiring Paolo for Clio implementation, save yourself the time, money, and frustration. He does not have the knowledge or professionalism this work requires. Look elsewhere.

None compares to 2b1, Inc. I first used their services in San Francisco while an office manager for an insurance defense law firm. During that time, we had a complex office relocation, loss of our total firm database (which 2b1 recovered entirely in a three (3) day nonstop, round-the-clock work session) and the installation of a state of the art server and firewall designed and implemented by the guys at 2b1. Recently, they came to my rescue again. The firm I now manage, was operating on a pieced together, unsecured computer work group when we lost our TimeSlips database and many, many $$$ worth of unrecoverable billable time. Knowing I had one chance of recovery, I dialed 2b1, Inc.'s owner, Paolo...who immediately formulated a plan of action and who ultimately, recovered our billable time (at a mere fraction of the amount we recovered). He and his team also helped us design, implement, purchase and install a true Secured Network for my firm as well - which is now operational. Between the consummate staff of professional individuals (Kalle) employed by 2b1, and the reasonable cost for their services rendered, our firm is realizing a monthly profit margin higher than the months for the collective ten years prior. Thank you 2b1. Thank you. Bravo! Angela W. Walnut Creek, CA
