There are daily specials, mostly lunches, like a BBQ pork sandwich with drink and side for around $5 - 6. They fry chicken and have many of the southern traditional items, like greens, fried okra, potato wedges, corn, etc. Given than many of the trades guys don't speak or read English as their native tongue, they have a color photograph menu on the counter so one can point to what they want and indicate with their fingers the quantity. And those ladies behind the counter are like a bunch of moms in the kitchen. They work, and work continually along with their banter and laughter. And they love to see you there. Along the front window, among the aisles of goods are boothettes for eating in. Otherwise the food is wrapped and set up to-go.
