Stopped for gas. Very small gas station. Not bad at all. It provides snacks & drink just a smaller store.

Ken is amazing! He was one of the only ones who got back to me within 10 minutes and was willing to…read morecome out the next day! My window was smashed so I needed this repaired asap. He ensured I felt safe so he put a temporary glass in for me. 1000% recommend his services!

Brought my vehicle in for a simple chip repair under a quarter in size. The technician, Ray, worked…read moreon the glass while it was hot in direct sunlight without warning me of thermal cracking risks or having me sign a standard waiver. During the procedure, the chip expanded into a 13-inch crack running to the glass edge. When I reached out to the owner, Ken, to discuss a resolution, he admitted in writing that glass spreads under heat, but only offered to refund my initial payment. The repair should never have been performed in direct sunlight without cooling the glass or providing a warning. When I simply asked for partial assistance with my insurance deductible to replace the ruined windshield, Ken became hostile, completely reneged on his written offer to refund the original service fee, said the crack is now an act of god and it was going to happen no matter what, and finally called me a "cheap ass" in writing. If Ray had warned me before starting the repair that the chip would convert into a crack no matter what, I would have explored other options including going to my insurance directly. I came here to make a minor chip less visible, and I left with a destroyed windshield that will cost over a thousand dollars to replace. Avoid this business." Update in response to Ken's reply: Ken's public response claims he treated me in a "courteous and kind manner" and that "the offer still stands". This flatly contradicts his private email from last night, where he explicitly wrote: "I will not be offering you your money back or anything else... I'm done trying to accommodate a cheap ass!". Additionally, when I asked him to address the issue in a professional way before I explore other options, he jumped to the conclusion that I was threatening him. I'm attaching screenshot of the email he sent last night. He still refuses to take accountability for working on heat-stressed glass in direct sunlight without warning me beforehand. A reputable ship provides pre-service disclosures so customers can make informed decisions. Calling a repair failure "an act of God" after the damage is done is simply dodging responsibility for poor workmanship.

The folks at Thunderbolt were great. I had taken the car to an auto repair shop, and they diagnosed…read morethe issue as a transmission problem. I brought the car to Thunderbolt, and they check out the transmission and found it was not the problem. They found the problem was a bad wheel bearing, which was recently. I took the car back to the shop who originally replaced the bearing and had it fixed under warranty. Thunderbolt was very accommodating, and while they could have replaced the wheel bearing, they agreed I should take it back to the shop who originally replaced it. Their honesty and good advice is refreshing. I recommend Thinderbolt, and I expect they will take care of you, as they took great care of me!

About three years ago, Thunderbolt rebuilt the original engine in my 1971 Chevy Vega and did a great job. The original quote was for the standard items in any rebuild and it was clearly stated that after the tear down the price could go up if it was discovered that more work was needed to be done. I understood this and only a ignoramus would not. My price did go up because more was needed but it was perfectly legit. I used to own a body shop and had the same issue. You make your best guess on what is needed with a visual inspection but after the tear down in almost all cases more damage was discovered. The insurance adjusters knew this but the idiot customer would push back, like they are here.
