It's about six minutes away from I-40 exit 287 (Harrison Avenue - Cary). This Shell station has eight pumps. At first, I tried to use pump 6, but it wouldn't take my card. I then realized there was a handwritten note on pump 6 that said to pay inside. I walked to pump 8 and noticed pump 8 did not have a sign that said the same, so I used pump 8 instead. I paid at the pump as I normally do with my card. I had no issues except the fuel gloves and paper towels were all out on the side of the station I was on. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I use a paper towel to touch gas pump buttons and handles. It was nice they actually had a box of fuel gloves. Costco is the only other place I've seen them. Too bad they were out of both gloves and paper towels. I filled up for $3.419 per gallon of premium, which was expensive. Using the app GetUpside, I was able to get $0.19 per gallon back. If you've never used the app GetUpside before, try it and use my invite code DANIEL66482 for an additional $0.15 per gallon back on your first use. No gimmicks. The Circle K convenience store is small. The property has an automatic car wash. Around 10:15 PM on a Saturday night, I felt safe enough here.

The clerks inside are friendly the times I've needed to go inside. The gas prices tend to be lower here than the stations on Durham Rd as it is hidden from the road. BP is one of the partners with Harris Teeter from the gas rewards so you just need to type in your phone number and the discount comes off the price. I like that that it has the chip reader for a more secure transaction that inserting your card into the card reader.

I can't get some every day things that are not organic. Even if really busy the checkout is quick. Prices are about the same as a sale at other places.

He said I went the "wrong way" but there's no clear indication or barrier before I reached this side of the station. The plus side is that the Premium gas was significantly cheaper but the card machine wasn't able to read my Costco membership card. I had to scan the QR code from the Costco app. When I was about to leave, the other worker told me to turn my car around instead of going straight in order to exit the area.
