I went back a few hours later and asked them to scan the same item, but this time the total with tax came out to $24 and some change. I confronted him and he immediately tried to give me $5 in cash without even pulling up my first transaction.

These delicious morsels are served with roasted peppers, onions, and cheese and include beans and rice as a side. The menu is fairly diverse for a burgers-and-tacos sort of place. They offer gorditas and tacos al pastor, which is a pleasant surprise. While I can't comment on the burgers or fries as of yet, these were delish in a most interesting and unusual way. That is...the beans, which are a bit watery at the start, are a sort of tasty universal food lubricant. Both the rice and the fajitas are a touch on the dry side. But a dollop of the beans...and voila, everything comes out perfectly tasty and the right level of moist! It's almost head-scratchingly good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in this neck of the woods. I know that I'll be back. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either. Note: To my knowledge, there are no sit-down tables here, so this is a sit n' eat in your car kind of place, or for takeout only.

It is conveniently located on a busy highway intersection, with easy access in and back out. There's also easy parking around and in front of the store. The gas price seemed competitive . Store seemed decently stocked: basic groceries, hot breakfast sandwiches, hotdogs, soda fountain, coffee, bottled beverages, and alcohol. The Sunday morning I arrived, most of the fresh donuts had been claimed - popular product! I only saw one employee, and she was cleaning. However, when she saw me approach the counter, she returned to check me out. She was courteous to me. The store was extremely slow, so I saw no problem with her absence at the counter doing some nearby cleaning. One thing I was disappointed about was that I wasn't welcomed when I entered the store. I walked into crickets. Why should that matter? When their major competitor does it, it seems like a good idea to try it too. So here's the thing, I can get gas at different places with convenience stores. So if you want me to come here, make my experience something that causes me to come back. Nothing here makes this place stand out from other places.
