update: 10/2/26 if…read morethere was a way that i could go back and give these shysters no stars, then i would. i praised this establishment for being kind and fixing my car issue when i came in to shreveport for my uncle's funeral on 9/10/26. my car had rattled most of the way from fort worth where i live when i would apply my brakes. i have a heart condition and blood pressure and diabetic issues and i was highly stressed due to the possible prospect of breaking down in 105 degree heat. i was satisfied with the repair and the way my car operated whilst in shreveport but when i left on monday 9/14, headed back to fort worth, i was very angry and worried because i had spent $2,383.45 to have two struts and two lower front control arms replaced for which i had specifically asked to see after they took them off. i did not get to see them because upon my return, i was told that they had been put into recycle. i was no further than 20 miles out of shreveport on i20 and the same problem still existed and still does so with my health issues, thanks to mavis, i had the dubious privilege of having to worry all the way back again. when i got back home, i took it to our local mavis and explained the situation. they looked under the car and informed me that the brake pads and rotors needed replacing which is why the car would shake uncontrollably (almost) when on the interstate and i would depress the brakes to slow down.. i showed them the invoice from the mansfield highway store in which in indicated that the brakes were inspected. he told me to reach out to that store, which i did. i spoke to lucretia on 9/24 who told me that she was willing to credit my debit card the $623.70 that i would be spending at my local mavis to get the car repaired properly. lucretia told me that she would get permission from the head office to do this. i waited until 9/25 to call her back and then she told me that she was told that because of the amount, that the district office (or corporate office) would have to issue me a check or voucher. she told i told her that i preferred a check. she told me that if was going to be a check that it would be in the mail; if a voucher then i would get it on email. i waited until 10/1 to follow up. when i spoke to lucretia, she was very cold to me and said that she would check on it. today (10/2) i called and spoke to a lady who claimed to be the district manager named erin. she gave me the story that even though last saturday was her day off, she personally approved the voucher and emailed it to me. it is 10/2 and nothing in my spam or inbox. she assured me that she would call as soon as she got to a position to look on her computer and call me back with the email that she used. guess what ????? nothing....nada what really angers me even a little less is the the people (tom/tim) at the mansfield road location told lucretia that i saw the broken struts and lower control arms that they took off which was a boldface lie, one that i will swear before god to. i am at a point where i am not willing to let this go and i will not. they will be getting a demand letter from me and we will see if this ends up in small claims court. below is the original review /i was coming into town from the dfw metroplex friday afternoon september 10th. my car was making a terrible rattling shaking vibrating sound when i was on interstate 20 and when i would pump the brakes to slow down if i got behind somebody that was going less than the speed limit. it would make the car shake really bad. i felt like that it was the bearings in the front tires as it had the same symptoms as before. i prayed my way all the way to shreveport that the car would not stall. i am an older person and cannot afford to be marooned on the side of the road. as soon as i got into shreveport the lady that i was staying with said that less than a block away there is a place called mavis. i took it in about 3:30 and they told me that they could have it all taken care of in the next few hours. i was really relieved and happy and surprised about that. i figured that i might be told that i'd have to wait a day or two like you do most places. they test drive the car and told me within about 10 minutes what the problem was and what it would cost. by 6:30 or 7:00 i have my car back and runs so good. so it was only out for about 2 and 1/2 hours. these people are great. and they were so very kind to me as well it almost feels like i made some new friends while i was there. where i was staying was just about one block down the road but it was so hot and humid and i have health issues and they took me back to where i was staying in my car and then they came and got me when it was ready. i could not have asked for more. they make you feel very welcome and genuinely nice because you are you and not because they are looking at dollar signs like a lot of businesses do. i highly recommend that you all give them a try. eugene phillips

The waiting area is very nice: very clean with lots of nice leather seating. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. My oil change was finished very quickly (about 15 min or so). My technician was Kendrick, and he was absolutely the best tech I've ever had! He walked me to my car to give me an update on my car's condition and calmly and efficiently explained all the fluids they had checked and filled. He then says, "Now please don't feel pressured at all; we have a few optional services available." He then explained several optional services that I could choose and said he could give me pamphlets that explain when I should get them done. I was amazed!! I have never been treated so well at a car shop! I always feel so pressured to buy all the extra services and feel put down as a woman walking into a mechanic shop. I told Kendrick at least 4 times what an exceptional job he was doing and how much I appreciated him. I will go back as soon as I need to!
