This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

And paper to-go trays as usual, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, *still no labels* in the hot box so you will play the game of guess-the-fried-shapes. Most of the trays were empty, and the other two options this morning appeared to be flautas and churros. I selected two of what I hoped were taquitos/burritos. They ended up being eggrolls (insert trombone wah-wah). They were cheap and reheated well for lunch (the co-worker arrived with donuts, so I didn't dissect my mystery selection until lunchtime). I'm not asking for the ingredient list to be posted--I accept I'll die not knowing if those previous mini burritos were beef or bean or both--but even vegetarian versus not would be an improvement.

It's on one main thoroughfare and near many residential homes with a middling-sized parking lot, so maneuvering the lot can be interesting depending on your time/traffic, plus you'll learn quickly which way you should turn pulling OUT of here. Current construction isn't really helping at the moment but this too shall pass. Service has been 99% friendly, always efficient, and the store's been clean. I tend to stop in near midnight or later--after petsits or with insomnia--unless I just pop by for gas on my way to work. They do stock basic grocery items, but all (milk is the exception) have a serious convenience upprice going on. $2.29 for a can of tuna! Fortunately they stock a decent amount of milk and it's always been fresh. I come from dairy people, what can I say, I go through a lot of milk. They have a tire pump which is working more often than not lately. I wish they'd stock the good lemonade again, and the employees have been great about masking since the beginning.

So I am encouraging everyone to just avoid this Stripes. She was not very nice at all and very rude to me. I feel that part of Customer Service is 99% Compassion and 1% Common Sense. Don't be rude to your customers. They will not be nice back and will not be back again ever.
