The whole bathroom smelled like poop and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The staff was rude and there was a bunch of homeless hanging out around the shell. He managed to reduce the price slightly before we explained that we were also planning to get gas with the rest of $20, so we asked if we could just do drinks instead, but Marcus L. took off just a little more from the price so we could get at least 2 gallons of gas to be able to get to my boyfriends interview. Gas seems fine here, no issues but it's not as good as Costco gas to be sure - I think they are getting the gas from the same source as HEB so if you're not in the Shell rewards system you can get the same function for a couple pennies less. This is a full convenience store with a restroom. Don't expect it to raise the bar, I'd suggest it barely meets any bar and certainly has room for improvement. I stop here for gas on my way home from work if it's convenient timing considering traffic and weather. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go here if it wasn't exactly on my route home.
