They also have a selection of local foods that you can purchase either as souvenirs or to consume yourself. They also have a variety of limited souvenirs and trinkets. The staff is really friendly this trip here! Gas pumps are close together but they do their job. There is absolutely no liquid in the windshield cleaner buckets which is incredibly difficult in this area with the number of bugs that you have on your windshield so that was pretty disappointing. We made it work with some of our own water, we had to get the bugs cleaned off because it was a driving hazard. Other people's headlights plus that many bugs equals extremely low visibility.

The closest big towns are 30 minutes to an hour away so this is the closest gas/mini mart with hot gas station food etc. So it being the closest retailer, it is by default where you shop for necessities like cold beer and ice which is what everyone seems to do down here, it's there regional past time so when in Rome. Your not going to get craft beer so you will have to settle for domestic, pick one that you can deal with. It's a local meeting place where everyone knows everyone and I'm the outsider when I stop by. I personally don't have a problem with the little oasis so when I'm in town I'm going to go there but I'm not going have the food. The gas pump was old fashioned, like the stuff you used to see in California in the 70's. Luckily, I'm old and had seen this kind of pump before and knew how to operate it. The staff working there was nice and friendly and even struck up a nice conversation with me. It's a great little gas station with friendly people. A little far from the interstate, but, when there are no gas stations around, this is where I had to stop.

Now, I for one, do not mind, conversating and expressing ones opinion as this is our God given right, Freedom of Speech, however there is a time and place to express yourself in a way to utilizes expletives, as the two females were vocally upset, and favored one four letter word stating with F. Now this will not deter me from continuing my business, as I still find hucks to be a good overall experience. However, management needs to express to their employees that that kind of language, when children are present, should not be used.
