The sites are located next to the street where the trucks enter and leave. So unfortunately, we heard them driving back and forth during our stay. We arrived around 9 pm and tried to check-in at the kiosk but an error came up. We pressed the callbox button and someone came out to help us. The setup here felt like a corral, there is fencing on 3 sides. The power, water and sewer hookups were fine and the sites were clean. As we were preparing to leave the next morning, we spotted a STOP sign located on the back fence. We called the store and they told us that the gate opens automatically. We were worried because we would have had a hard time turning around or backing out with our 45' motorcoach plus tow vehicle. As we approached the back gate, we got a better look at the sign and it did show that the gate opens automatically (in small print). Just a couple hiccups but overall a good experience.

At the time we couldn't just stop at any fast food place since lobbies were closed to the public, same with many businesses. But you can always count on a gas station, right? Nope, totally wrong apparently. We pulled into the empty lot and pumped gas. Then my husband went in to use the restroom while I watched the dogs in the car. He was met with two people inside who ignored him, one may have been another customer, it was not clear. He made his way towards the restrooms to be met with a stack of boxes blocking entry and a home made sign saying 'no public restrooms'... at an Exxon!?!?!?! My husband repeated the sign as a question- no public restroom? The response was an unapologetic 'yep' and no suggestion on where to go instead. Great impression of Tatum. Reasonable expectations of a gas station when travelling (gas, restroom, at least a limited supply of caffeine and snacks) were not met. I am giving the second star because at least we were able to pump gas and get a receipt successfully (that's not always the case when travelling). I unfortunately was put in a position in the last couple of months to travel for family emergencies more often than not and this was the only gas station with an unavailable restroom, though the lack of explanation bothers me the most. My advice is to continue down a couple blocks to another station on the opposite side of the road or there is a larger travel center on the same side of the road, maybe 5 minutes outside of town.

Then an hour after I park the attendant comes out and states I'm not allowed to wait in the lot. And I move over to where she informed me u could wait. After 2 more hours my passengers are ready for pick up and I go back to the store to get everyone a bottle if water. Only to recieve a nasty look and informed that I wasn't allowed to park in front of the store. Even though I am disabled. I would never gstop here again.
