Nearest to an area I frequent, it is one that offers higher cash back than most partner stations along my driving route to my residence. Upside requires you to claim the offer before paying with your linked card. Verification usually takes at least four days. The location of this BP is very congested because it sits at the busy intersection of S. 9th Avenue and Roosevelt Road, which has traffic lights. Leaving this station to head east on Roosevelt Road at any time of the day is always frustrating. I always find myself exiting onto 9th Avenue so that I can turn left and head east on Roosevelt whenever I visit. In my opinion, gas station locations along Roosevelt are terrible. They should honestly be farther away from intersecting streets with traffic lights, which make them a pain to exit. With most along Roosevelt, it always seems easiest to enter rather than leave. Like most gas stations that give off a gritty vibe, this location is no exception. It gives me the urge to sanitize my hands right after using the pump, or even pull out my latex gloves to cover my hands; you never really know with places that have a constant stream of customers coming and going. We all know very well that the gas station clerk is not coming out to clean the pumps. In this world, you must protect yourself from these germ-infested surfaces because nobody else will. If in the area and in dire need of gas, I would definitely consider visiting this BP gas station again, especially since it is one that offers a higher cash-back offer via the Upside application.
