The guy cutting the lawn said he was concerned about the new grass even though the grass had been growing for almost 6 weeks by then. Then he recommended I fertilize the lawn to deal with weeds which didnt make sense. Weed killer or over seeding would have been a better solution. After I canceled the service he sends me a bill for higher than his original estimate for weekly service.

When my father was sick with cancer and his furnace gave out, Jonathan drove over at night to fix it and get the heat back on. He does the same for me. It snowed one winter and I needed to get out of my garage for work, Jonathan was there to plow me out! So we asked them to come back for routine gutter cleanup and an inspection for leak prevention, as they advertised as one of their expertise. This time, we are greatly disappointed; they did nothing with the gutters, leaving nails popping out, but told me I had a problem with part of the roof, but no definitive scope of work. Then someone claimed to be a representative called to talk about "roof work", including replacing all of my skylights. When asking for an estimate, it was refused and the person just kept reiterating the same phrase, "you have an expensive home". He left the samples with me for a few days giving time to absorb the various materials and colors. As part of his school, Gary explained what the roofing shingles are made of and informed me about the company that makes them. That being said, upon my approval to go ahead with the work, his roofing staff showed up promptly and they did a great job. I have not had any leaking. I needed new ply wood which cannot be seen until the old roof is removed, but the added expense was reasonable. There was one area that I didn't find flat enough (even though it was placed correctly) and Gary's assistant, Filipe immediately got on the ladder and flattened it out completely. They also came back as promised to replace some caps on the gutters. I found that some of the older roof had fallen onto a historic lamp in the front of my house and Gary and one of his staff returned to fix it. He then followed up once again to be sure it was holding and then again via text. Very reliable.

My journey with NJ Pavers & Pools began in 2022 when I decided to replace a dilapidated wooden deck…read morewith a raised paver patio. I wanted the patio surface to align with my door's threshold for better accessibility and aesthetics. After receiving multiple estimates, I was unimpressed--every contractor pushed for a ground-level patio with steps leading down from the door, citing lower costs and less effort. While I understood their reasoning, it wasn't my vision, and their reluctance to execute on what I was describing left me feeling they weren't up to the task. Then, I met Alex from NJ Pavers & Pools. He not only embraced my idea but immediately provided a concept drawing and a competitive estimate. His confidence in bringing my vision to life was what truly won me over and I hired him right there on the spot The crew was remarkable--professional, skilled, happy, and efficient, Project manager Miguel's attention to detail ( really all the guys are meticulous) ensured the job was done flawlessly. By day two, I was so impressed that I expanded the project to include replacing the old garden pavers and adding a firepit. They completed the entire process in just three days, and four summers later, the patio remains flawless and the adjacent garden inviting. Flash forward to 2025 when it came time to tackle phase two --replacing the cracked, unsightly, sinking and crumbling concrete around my pool. I spent months researching different surfacing options, but my heart kept coming back to my previous experience with Alex and his team. The trust factor, along with the desire for a cohesive aesthetic, made the decision to go with pavers and them an easy one. They delivered in spades! They spent two weeks transforming not just the pool area, but also adding a new front porch, a side-door step, and a front walkway. The end result is a stunning, unified oasis that has completely elevated the look of my home. Neighbors, dog-walkers, and guests have all stopped to comment on the beautiful, cohesive, and upscale look. We love the result. NJ Pavers & Pools consistently exceeds expectations. I am a lifelong customer. I couldn't be happier. They didn't just complete a job; they turned my vision into a beautiful, lasting reality, earning my complete trust, loyalty and unwavering loyalty. I 1000% recommend them to anyone and the quality of their work to beyond evident.
