Anyone needing to have their carpets cleaned? If so, I have a recommendation: John Wecker Carpet…read moreCleaning. John, and his daughters, have been cleaning my carpets FOR YEARS now. Professional, courteous, prompt, GREAT pricing (he's always running specials!), and best of all, provides great results (I'm including some photos of my recently cleaned carpets!). John recently did carpet cleaning for my 4 bedrooms, the upstairs hallway, the stairs going to the 2nd floor, the basement stairs, and the dining room and playroom - all for a GREAT price. Stanley Steemer was going to charge WAY more, and the fact is, SS does NOT do nearly as good a job as John Wecker. More recently, my GF needed her apartment carpeting cleaned for an annual inspection. She called a carpet cleaner, and the guy wanted over $300 for three, REALLY SMALL rooms. When he showed-up, he refused to do the work, saying "You're wasting your money trying to clean these carpets. I can't take your money". Problem is she waited 2 weeks for the guy to show, and now she was within 5 days of her inspection. John stepped in, cleaned her carpeting, got out ALL the dirt and ANY stains, and the carpeting now looks fantastic. And John did it for little more than HALF of what the other carpet cleaner asked for! John is based in Saint Louis, but he accommodated our needs, and he travelled all the way to Belleville to clean my GF's carpeting! She couldn't have been happier with the results. I called him on a Wednesday afternoon, and he did the carpet cleaning two days later, on Friday afternoon! Anyway, John is a great guy, and does a fantastic job cleaning my carpets. He also cleans upholstery, and tile and grout cleaning. I highly recommend John's Wecker's services.

How SUPER professional his daughters are and he should be very proud. They did an awesome job for a very reasonable price. They have great communication about what they are doing, how and why. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and would always ask the owner and followup with me. The owner came out for the consult and smelled different areas of the carpet to make sure he knew where to treat. He also gave details on how he would treat. The price was very reasonable. I also want to add that he was on time to the appointment. For the actual cleaning he arrived at my home on time for the appointment, with his employee. They were both very friendly and did a thorough job. I never felt like they were rushing to leave. They both went over what was being done for each step. The carpet smelled so good and still smells good almost a week later. I will always call them for service.

I called them up again recently to install some trim coil on a porch overhang and they did a very good job. While they were here, I requested a quote for some additional work. Received the quote at the end of September and one of the owners said he would get to me in a couple of weeks. Arrangements were made for them to come out to do the work during the middle part of October. I sent a text the night before they were supposed to arrive and requested to postpone the work due to the fact that it had been raining all week and was going to be all muddy and messy outside (as a courtesy to them). I mentioned of getting back together once it was all dry again. Well, today, an entire month later, I get a call from one of the co-owners (John) offering to do the work we spoke about nearly two months ago. His excuse for just now getting back in touch with me - they have been busy and I turned them away -- which I didn't - simply requested a delay to the rain that was going on that week. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't need my headache and that I could find someone else to do the work. His tone to me as a paying customer was egregious and completely out of line! Not to mention he sounded like he had smoked two packs of cigarettes a day for the past 40 years. We parted ways and I told him what he could do. In my opinion, these guys didn't want the work in the first place because it wasn't going to be a big enough money job. Yet again, it is so hard to find people to pay to do work for you around here! I will find someone else who truly values their customers and doesn't call them a 'smartass' on the phone!

I had great conversations with both of them actually. They were completely open about what was going on the whole time and helped me understand one of the issues they came across. The price was on point. This day and age, customer service goes along way for me and that could've been the full five stars right there but I feel like the air already feels cleaner too so definitely 5/5!
