Fix To Go's recent Yelp reviews were very good! So we quickly changed plans with AAA, and called ahead, explaining to Manager Bacardi the situation. He was straightforward with us, agreed with me on my guess (it was the starter), and gave us an accurate quote. Barcadi's team quickly sourced and replaced the starter, and noticed the brakes were in desperate need of pad replacement. The total price was not bad at all! Soon we were confidently back on the road with new starter and brake pads. We are so thankful to the team at Fix To Go Auto Care Center for being honest and skillful mechanics in our time of need.

Instead, they confirmed it was an easy repair and charged only $50--almost unheard of in today's economy. The service went above and beyond. When I picked up my car, they had even washed it and removed paint from the front end left after an unintended acceleration incident involving my garage door a few months earlier. I had previously taken the car to Wesley Chapel BMW--now part of Morgan Auto Group--for an inspection, and they did not remove the paint. i'd never come back here after they ripped me off when i got new tires through them. they get two…read morestars because that part was fine--the tires came quickly, i dropped the car off before work, they installed them in the morning, and it was ready for pickup after work. however, they did an oil change and charged me for it after lying and saying i had no oil. i had just gotten service a month ago at the dealership that included an oil change and oil filter (this car is not my daily driver so i put less than 300 miles on it in that time frame). when i found out about it, i told them they shouldn't have done it without checking with me, that the oil change was full and clean when i dropped it off. they said it was completely empty, nothing on the dipstick, and said "that is weird" when i asked them where it all would have gone. they couldn't find a leak, no oil under the car, no oil under the hood, no burning oil smell... i was thinking it would be a serious issue if my car truly was empty on oil but apparently there was nothing amiss at all. they didn't even keep the brand new OEM filter on, they replaced it with a cheap one and charged me for it. what's more, they removed the little window sticker that said it wasn't due for an oil change for another 3000 miles and they didn't even put a new one up to let me the new mileage. i honestly don't even know if they changed the oil because it was just as full and clear when i brought it in. buyer beware, do not come here. if you do, i would recommend specifically disallowing any other services in writing unless you want to be ripped off.
