A wildly ridiculous business decision, especially in this strained economy. No wonder people go across the street to the Chevron instead. The Summit store mailed out giveaway postcards to residents and after reading the details, I was excited to try out their revamped services, like using the app for gas discounts or trying the monthly car wash membership. I just switched from an electric to gas car, so the timing was perfect to find my new fill-up location. The postcard had coupons for free items on specific dates, like a fountain drink or hot dog. I gave the coupons to my young son, who thought it was the coolest thing ever. We went to the store a couple times for gas and I let him use the coupon for that particular day. He was all smiles. This evening, my son was getting ready for bed when I realized we forgot "free cookie day". I checked the terms and it only required that it be used at the Summit location on today's exact date. There were no other details like any time restrictions. It was after 9pm, but he was so excited to jump in the car and hurry over there. We went inside and saw about 2 dozen cookies on the counter. I told the cashier that we were so glad we made it in time for cookies and he said the time had already ended. The look on my son's face was pure disappointment and borderline horror. LITERALLY NOTHING ON THE POSTCARD OR COUPON SAID IT ENDED AT A CERTAIN TIME. The two cashiers discussed it and said the promotion was over at 7pm, even though that's not what the coupon stated AT ALL. Their remedy was that I could purchase cookies for $1.39/ each. That pretty cool to lure people in with a promo and then add some unposted conditions that essentially void it. Like the ultimate bait & switch while my son is trying to be tough, but I can clearly tell he's starting to tear up. Yes, I can afford to buy $1.39/ cookies, but now it's the principle of the situation. I would be more forgiving if it was for me as an adult, but my son was truly bummed to drive over and then be told no. He was looking forward to taking it to school the next day. So heartless.

It's VERY inconvenient that they take a 30 min break during the day. Recently, I pulled up 10 min before the pharmacy closing time of 6:00PM and the drive thru was closed and I had to park and go inside. But no where on their hours did they state that the drive thru closes 10 min earlier than the actual pharmacy. In the past they didn't have the drive thru open at all because of lack of staffing. My complaint is, their actual hours of operation do not always align with what they post at the window, door and online! I rely on FACTS to structure my day and it's annoying that this CVS cannot stick to them.

There have been multiple occasions where I received fewer pills than prescribed, and when I called to ask about it, the pharmacist actually hung up on me. Even more frustrating, they've repeatedly failed to correctly bill my insurance--using the wrong code month after month. As a result, I have to call ahead every time just to ensure my prescription is ordered and covered, only to be told my insurance won't pay (when it actually does, if properly billed). I was prescribed a medication in May and didn't receive it until June due to this same ongoing issue. It's completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of accountability. The drive-thru has now been closed for over five months with no communication or solution offered. Inside, the lines are long and slow-moving, and the staff often seem overwhelmed and disorganized. If you choose to fill your prescriptions at this location, be prepared to make repeated phone calls, double-check everything, and still risk not getting what you need on time. This place has gone from inconvenient to completely unreliable.

It didn't look right when she gave them to me- and I questioned her, but I didn't stop & count them out at the counter. So that was my fault. Needless to say, I should be able to trust the clerk.
