There were roof problems in some units, mine included, and the staff, particularly Mikeulyn, has been enormously helpful. It is difficult for me to visit the site and she has helped arrange movement of our 3 units contents to new units that were not damaged in the storm. A big hats off for Mikeulyn and also for Vanessa, in their corporate offices, with helping lock on the new units too. I will continue to keep my things stored there for a long time. I moved out and cancelled my lease because I was already being severely overcharged by your company. For a long time I was being charged $209+tax. When I called your office to point out to you that I was being overcharged based on the pricing listed on your website, I was told that my pricing would not be lowered to your advertised price, and only reduced to $190. The current advertised price for the same exact enclosed space that I had, is for $153 per month, and it very clearly states NO OBLIGATION. It does not say that it is a move in special, or limited time offer, or only applying to new move-ins. Still a full $37 per month over your current pricing. I have been charged substantially more than your current pricing. It also appears I have been being charged a $12 per month "protection fee" which I only realized recently. Apparently your website does not show itemized billing on demand, and it is also not allowing me to go back and look at previous statements for itemization. I finally found some previous invoices in my email. When I noticed that, I initially thought it was for the physical security on premise, which was apparently installed and being monitored by an unlicensed security company. After some digging, I found out I'm being charged for some sort of a protection plan because you did not have a copy of my trailers insurance on file. I have had insurance since I bought the trailer in 2019. So in addition to being overcharged on the monthly space, I've also been overcharged by that $12 per month. That "protection fee" did not appear until AFTER I called in to discuss being overcharged in the first place. I consider that being charged a retaliatory fee for raising the issue. And since the optimization is not available on your website, it appears that you were intentionally trying to hide that from me. I have never received a notice that that fee was going to be charged to me. I have also not been sent a physical invoice since these changes were made, which also tells me you were intentionally not wanting to show me that fee.

Avoid this location…read more I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Public Storage. Earlier today, I was literally stuck in the elevator at this facility. After finally getting out, the elevator completely stopped working, leaving me unable to access my unit on the fourth floor. What's worse? Management was completely useless. The property manager told me they "don't know what to do" and weren't even on-site to help. So now I'm paying for a unit I can't even access, with zero support or urgency from staff. I've called and talked to 4 people in their customer service line and not a single one was able to help. I expect corporate to step in because this level of service is completely unacceptable.

Trevor and the UPS Store saved the day for me! My fiancée…read moreand I were traveling from Eastland to Tyler with a truck cab packed with hastily bagged items that I'd recovered from my deceased Mom's home. There were heavy things, fragile things, and valuable things, and of course, they were all sentimental things. My plan on entering the store was to obtain a few boxes and spend the next couple of days packing them out carefully from our hotel room in effort to ship them back home to Los Angeles. I had trouble looking at the boxes on display to make decisions as I was emotional, and their display shows short versions of the boxes with the dimensions labeled, as that better facilitates display on the wall. I was confused and worried and my fiancée was trying to calm me down and get me to think straight. That's when Trevor saw our plight and stepped in, stopping his other work on a duplication job. He asked the right series of critical questions like "how big is the biggest item?" and "can I see the bags to assess?" My fiancée began bringing the items into the store, and before long, Trevor assured me that my best bet was to enlist his assistance in the pack out, right there in the store. He was patient and kind as I unloaded a lifetime of treasures and memories onto the counter, spilling onto the floor. He helped me identify the heaviest, and most fragile items, brought out some packing supplies and let me use what was needed, only charging me for what I consumed. Trevor is a consummate professional, and needless to say, my 2 giant boxes, weighing over 80 ponds combined, arrived at my home in Los Angeles exactly as scheduled, the very day after my flight arrived. He saved me days of moving the items into hotels on luggage carts and agonizing over how to pack them, and for that, I am truly grateful. Oh yeah, and he gave us free tape. Tons of free tape to be sure everything stayed put and square! Thanks Trevor and The UPS Store!
