Would not take in…read moreconsideration was not going to be but at max maybe 45 minutes but would have to book for 2 hours at cost of 460 + dollars. Person who answered the phone for new business was very rude when I told her there prices were way over others. I wanted to get item that afternoon and they had an opening but the others had to wait. more than doubled the price. She was rude and said well maybe you should go with the other people. We even sent my father in law to be there at 9:30am, in case we weren't back from closing in time or in case they showed up early. We made it back from closing at 10am. We started packing, and 11 o'clock came and they still weren't there. So my wife called and the company claimed they showed up at 9am, and no one was there. They didn't bother calling us to see where we were or anything. They just left. When we asked them to come back we were told they were at another move. So let that sink in. They were suppose to be at our house at 10:30 to help us move over the next 8 hours, yet they magically had another move scheduled the same day that they needed to be to 30 minutes after they were scheduled to help us move. It's 2018, so I have gotten use to poor customer service, but this is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced from a business. We are lucky we weren't sued from the buyers for not being out in time. But it didn't end there. The next day, they charged us $100, for a move they didn't even do. I would never trust this company to anything for me. The only thing this has going for it is an employee Jasmine, who went out of her way to help us find movers.

    The positives: - the movers (2) were friendly and…read morehardworking - they were available for a Sunday move that had three stops (pickup, pickup, unload) The negatives: - our move was scheduled for late morning and they called on moving day to reschedule for early afternoon - the movers arrived 40 minutes late because they had gone to the second pickup rather than the first pickup - during the first pickup, it was clear that the movers had already worked one job that day and they were visibly tired; we gave them water and bought them lunch because they hadn't eaten - during the second pickup, we realized they did not have the expected supplies (specifically, plastic wrapping) - while unloading, one of the movers dropped two containers of kitchen items from the truck to the asphalt (appx six feet); that drop caused several pieces of kitchenware, as well as an Instant Pot, to break, despite proper packing; additionally, a floor lamp and an antique mirror suffered damages during unloading I'm not surprised or upset that items were broken - it happens. A legitimate moving company carries insurance and has an established claims process to ensure that damages are taken care of and the customer is satisfied. In this case, YourMovers' process is severely lacking. Immediately after the move, we notified YourMovers of the damages that had occurred. They sent us a claims form to fill out, which we did. We also sent them pictures of the damaged items. They said they would send someone out to evaluate the damages, but never showed up for the scheduled appointment. We called them again and they apologized - one manager seemed to be unaware of what the other manager was doing. They said they would follow-up with us about our claims, but we only heard from them when we followed-up with them two days later. Today, we were told that their insurance only covers damages if YourMovers packed the items. After objection, they offered to compensate us based on weight - $0.70/lb. So if they damage your collection of bricks, you're in luck! If they damage your electronics or other non-brick valuables, too bad! Adding insult to injury, they estimated the weight of my Instant Pot, which they called a "crock pot," at 2 lbs. Every description of the item lists its weight at 11.6 pounds, and we've specifically identified the item by name (Instant Pot) in every reference. YourMovers has pointed us to their terms of service, which states that their liability for damages is limited to $0.70/lb unless you purchase additional insurance. I understand that, but I also believe that the movers' unpreparedness (back-to-back jobs, no meals, a break for rest that consisted of sitting in the cab of the truck) contributed to the damages that we incurred. So far, there has been no acknowledgement of this by the managers at YourMovers. So before you book your move with YourMovers, be sure to visit their web site, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, locate and click on the small "Terms of Service" link, and read all 7,300+ words of that agreement.

    This is by far the worst moving company ever. Took 4x as long as they estimated PLUS 3X more than…read morethe estimated cost. Crew had no idea how to pack or load a truck. Called Andrew and he was flippant...needed 2 trucks but he didn't want to send another truck. Damaged many articles.. including a dining room table that was never repaired or replaced & several antique pieces that were never repaired. When I asked one of the men to carry boxes upstairs I overhead him say to the lead, "She wants me to carry those f***ing boxes upstairs!" Damaged 2 neighbors property with the truck...one was repaired...one the elderly lady was told "it wasn't that bad"! When I was told how much the bill was and I told them that was 3x my estimate, they had a "strongarm" call me & threaten me! I would NEVER recommend these men...from Andrew to the crew to ANYONE. They should not be in business!!
