I called to genuinely inquire about their moving services since I am moving into a new home very soon. However, I am obviously looking for the best rate in different businesses since I do care about my time and money. I then ask how much is the hourly rate. The male representative declines to answer and asks first about the details of my moving (location, number of people needed to move, etc.). Since I did not want to go into the details before knowing the hourly price so I don't waste anyone's time, I asked again what the hourly rate is. The Asian male representative immediately got defensive and said that I am just another competitor asking about pricing and that I can get it in the website. I then got upset because I was being disrespected for absolutely no reason. Even if I was a competitor, that is not how you treat people when you are confident about your services and business. I then asked for a manager a then got hung up on. I called again, asked for a manager, and got hung up on again. BEWARE of this business at ALL COSTS. It seems like they customize their pricing depending on how they feel about you since they are not transparent about it straight up. All the other business that I have called straight up tell me that they charge by hour or distance, are straight up about their pricing and are also CLEAR of the different things that can change pricing. Such as distance, location and amount of of workers needed for the move. As a person who has worked for a long time in customer service, when a customer also requests a manager, you immediately get the manager. All of the addresses are also a scam.

The hallways are well lit, they offer plenty of carts to assist with moving in and out and there is lots of space available for wrapping, packing and sorting items while at the unit. The only thing keeping this review from being higher is their silly policy of giving them a months notice before moving out. We told Midgard up front when we planned on moving out but failed to re notify them a month prior. As a result, we have a storage unit sitting empty for the next month that we had to pay for.
